Couldnt cope with a 17 year old taking his place in the first 11, so had a massive hissy fit, shame cause he's proved that hes a decent player, but far too disruptive for us so good riddens

Many players have played for both sides over the years - we even picked an XI on an old 606 thread. Today's players these days are, dare I say it, more mercenary than they were 20 or 30 years ago, so, for them, it's not such a taboo to leave a club for their nearest rivals, as when, for example, Pat Jennings left Spurs for Arsenal in 1977. If he does join and plays with commitment in a Pompey shirt then he deserves the same respect and support from the Pompey faithful as any-one else

To be fair, Cotts could sort almost anyone out, so him being a bit hissy isn't too much of a problem! As much as it pains me to say in, Saints do have a couple of good/useful players for this level, and Puncheon is one of them. He even managed to cope well with the PL last year, so if he's going for around £1 million I say snap him up!
I would of thought it would be more than £1 million now to be honest. If Brighton are signing CMS for £2.5 etc... £1 million for Puncheon even if he is a bit of a tw*t , is daylight robbery.
If you did get him you would get the most keenest player on the pitch to knock us over that's for sure. He does have talent. However he is also a well traveled youngster which might suggest an attitude problem or some other settling problem. He really threw his dummies out when NA took over down here, although there were rumblings before that of discontent. It is hard to say how is playing is today. He did well at Millwall he did OK at Blackpool with out setting any fires alight. Although he seems to only burn bright for half a season. It seems strange that neither Blackpool or Millwall have expressed an interest though.
Blackpool have expressed an interest. As far as I was aware, both we and 'pool are the only two clubs to make an offical enquirey to Saints themselves
He has no end product. Fantastic at dribbling, both cutting inside and going down the line, but he does nothing with it. Hense whyhe can't get in our team.
Please, Please take him. You'll have a wonderful six weeks before the pouting, sulking and waving arms at his team mates starts. He'll be on loan at Orient by January.
Saints fan in peace, I have just read that you are interested in signing puncheon. Personally I think he is a good player but causes trouble behind the scenes, so you are welcome to him though I doubt you would pay the asking price
