As things currently stand, West Ham could put out a reserve team stronger than Leicester's first team, I'm sure things will change, but at the moment Leicester's squad isn't in the top two in the league.

He was on £35-40k at Pompey, but as he's now a free agent he'll have just taken the best offer he could get, I'll be surprised if it's too far past £20k.
Must admit OLM whatever else is said about Sven, Leicester certainly picked up when he came along, will still have a peek at Preston's results during the season though.
To be honest you could be right, he's done well to get over £20K IMO, I'm just surprised his wages were more than halved. Leicester will be in the play-offs I think, but only if they start well. West Ham, Birmingham, and maybe even Southampton have better squads than Leicester at the minute. However, Sven is still on the prowl...
I guess we won't properly know until the season starts but we look to have addressed the areas we were struggling in last year and we apppear to be on the verge of adding more players. On paper, we looked to have bought well and within our means. I've lowered my expectations for this season after the extent of our current financial situation was revealed, i don't expect a top 6 finish like i did back in April. Would be nice for it to happen however.

In case you haven't checked the news, we're signing at least one keeper next week. So much for us lot being THICK (or fickle, and upon reading previous posts, I can't see how any of us are fickle.) If you want to pay ridiculous wages for average players then fine, but the gaffer is building his own team with players on sustainable wages. We haven't finished in the market yet, so don't be moaning a month before the season starts about our transfer activity. Blackpool were favourites for relegation and got promoted in 2010 - we got thrashed 4-0 at Southampton in Dec 2007 (I was there to witness it) dropped close to the bottom three but then got promoted as probably the best team in the second half of our promotion season. So who knows! It would be nice to see TWS struggle though.
very few if any teams in the championship had a revamp to the extent that we did so in my opinion we really don't need to go bonkers with numerous additions to our squad. yes it needs tweaking but with half of last season and pre season under their belt I expect a really coherant team from Blackpool onwards. too much tinkering is unnecessary so dont expect many more additions other than 2 gk's and maybe ayala.
