I know that, I wasn't having a go at anyone or anything. I was saying that if people want to get that experience they should follow non-league football.

Definately the terraces! It's never been the same for me personally since they were so cruelly taken away <cry>

I started to go to games when I was 13 in 1989 but really got into (edit- got into the full terrace experience. Not the games themselves, I was hooked from day one) it a few years later when I was 16, in the Leazes, mental it was, I'd start signing the Blaydon races at the top of the terrace and end up at the bottom of it by the end of the song!

    Happy days.

P.S. I've been to one or two non-league games over the years (Whitley Bay, West Allotment) and theres absolutely no comparison compared to SJP in amongst a few thousand fellow supporters in a single terrace block! Doubt that ever will be replicated and will fade into oblivion :(

Suppose I could try emigrating to Brazil and supporting one of their big teams?
