Any Spurs fan who tells me that finishing in the league above Arsenal is not something that concerns them, I will tell them that they cannot truly be a Spurs fan. That concerns me more than my campaign to cure Mousers of their delusions that 'Pool's glory days are just around the corner.
If you mean me, I am concerned about it, of course I want to finish above them. But my main concern is Spurs and getting 4th would mean a lot to us. Would you rather be 5th with Arsenal 6th or 4th and Arsenal 3rd. It's the latter for me. Ideal scenario would be us ahead and in top 4. But 4th anyway would be a step up.
What's the point in us getting 4th? Levy would simply pocket all of the CL money, like he did last time, and the season we crash out of the CL we'll have another dip in form! Okay, all joking aside, if you give me a choice: us 4th and Arsenal 3rd, of course I'd take that over us 5th and Arsenal 6th. However, my pragmatic view is that simply finishing above Arsenal will almost always mean we are in the top 4, because I cannot see Arsenal ever finishing as low as 6th, whilst they have Whinger in charge.
Pretty much called that correctly, so if everything goes to plan it'll be a final of Chelsea v Sheffield Utd and a chance to get revenge for the 3-0 FA Cup final defeat of 1915
It was a tough, scrappy win, but a win nonetheless. Next game, they have to come out and attack us, which is when we'll be able to get in behind them. It's never easy playing against any team that parks the bus, as most of the big boys in Europe know, whenever they play Chelsea.
Considering we've been above them for the majority of the season, i'd say decent but as long as we finish top 10 I don't care who is above us at all.
i would love west ham to be lord it over Spuds. all we ever hear from Spuds is about the North London Power Shift, yet they ignore the fact that they may end this season below us and yourselves
