Anyone know of any plans to rearrange the derby match scheduled for April 4th ? I'll be very suprised if they stick to 3 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon. Just want to arrange some flights and transport, and if its going to be on Sunday I don't really want to be travelling on a Monday with a hangover.
After what happened between the clubs and the police it's will only be changed for tv, not what what the police want.
It's a sod mate when you have a way to travel and don't know what to do about work etc. If it's 'crack of dawn' on Sunday we'll drive up on Saturday evening and stay over. If it's Saturday we'll stay up Friday & Saturday night.

Nice to see sky are being nice and fair - Liverpool on 5 times? Seriously? Every time I've watched them in the league this season they've been dire!
I sort of understand the Bias somewhat - but West Ham are on 4 times? What is the country's love affair with West Ham? Are they still stuck in 1966? We're on once, Liverpool 5 times, Chelsea four times - As much as I know that QPR are ****e - they aren;t on at all are they???? Liverpool aren;t exactly what I'd call a "top club" any more - top clubs are City, United, Chelsea and Arsenal. The rest are much of a muchness IMO
Can we make it 5 on the bounce though? I'm enjoying putting one over them twice a year at the moment and it goes some way to paying back all them losses when they had Beardsley, Shearer et al.
We have a decent chance Sid. We're at home with a settled team and they'll hopefully have Carver in charge ......... the Mags don't seem to like him and, by then, the players will feel the same. Despite what's said about him, and some players, being Geordies they just don't seem to have the stomach for these matches.
Another 2-1 then? Do me a treat. Those bastards piled up the wins when the going was good, so now it's payback time!
Part of me wants them to wait 'til the summer for a manager Then Carver can bring Newcastle, to the SOL, and we can watch him go into 'Geordie cliché' overload. I reckon he could cram a dozen 'famous number 9, Geordie pride, incredible fans, etc' into his pre-match interview. As I mentioned elsewhere we now have 4 of these pesky 'winnable' games ......... Newcastle have some tough games ahead of the derby. How would we fancy a 'relegation battle' match at the SOL? The trouble is that, if Derby miss out on promotion, they'll get McClaren who'll do a decent job.
