Looks like Modric is on his way. Once he said that he wants to come to Chelsea then that was it. Doesn't matter what Arry says, every player has a price.
I hope this doesn't mean that signing Modric will end our interest in Pastore Pastore would be a more exciting option for me, and if we are going to shell out £30m+ then I'd rather it was for a 21 year old that we can use for the next 12 years ( or at least 5 years and then still be able to sell on ) plus it might give Torres the better option to gel with.
There still seems to be some mileage in this story but Levy and 'arry would look like fools if they sold him now so I imagine he will be told to stay one more year and if they dont improve there will be a verbal agreement to let him leave next year.
3 goals and two assists in one season is pretty poor if you ask me. Aquilani has a better assist rate over the last two seasons....
Sod the stats, Modric is involved in every aspect of Tottenhams play, from the build up onwards...he may not get the goals or the assists but he is the catalyst, a proper playmaker
I suppose you've all heard the breaking news? "Modric will honour his contract at Spurs." Now, that's the kind of headline I like to see!
