Top 9 all season would suggest though that he is indeed doing the job he is paid to do :D

Not according to murmurs in Mumbles. Just sayin'.

"Yes, we finished seventh, which was one place higher than the previous season, but I put that achievement down to the attitude of the players rather than anything Paulo Sousa gave us", so sayeth the Monkster.

I dont think any of our players have star quality to be honest now that Bony has gone. What they do have is the ability to work together to grind out results against most clubs. That all comes down to the manager and his coaching staff so you have to give them credit for turning average mediocre players into a top half team. you have to be happy with that when you look back to where we have come from. Some of our players are coming to the end of their usefulness and need to be replaced and apart from a striker then we should not do this until the summer when we can have a mass clear out, Im sure we have enough to stay another season in the premiership for now so there is no need to panic buy at this time when the players cost a lot more...

Newcastle wouldn't be 'big enough' surely? <whistle>

"The Great Dane" would restore Newcastle to their former status as one of "the biggest" Club's in the country. If Ashley allows it to happen, that is.

The Monkophiles would be apoplectic with rage and jealousy. Bring it on,I say. <laugh>

If Laudrup lands in Newcastle and turns them into where he was trying to take us .... it's going to be a poke in the eye with a sharp stick every time HJ looks at the league table or watches MOTD.
