Well, good luck to Naughton, except when he plays us. I think he’s going to be another pleasant Spurs surprise for Swansea. He really impressed me every once in a while. That may be a better indication of his quality, given his age and experience, than that his performances were erratic and he was definitely not a left back. But we clearly had at least one too many right backs, and it made sense to keep Yedlin and Cheery Cheese. I guess we’re coping without Bentaleb and Mason, but I might not have loaned Velkjovic. I don’t like Dembele in a deep lying role. Strong player though he is, he dwells on the ball too much. Though I think as a straight out DM, when paired with Mason, I think he’s good.

Just lifted this from Sky Sports POCHETTINO: ADEBAYOR IN MY PLANS Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has insisted Emmanuel Adebayor remains an integral part of his squad. Adebayor was booed by some sections of the Spurs supporters when he returned to the team as a 61st minute substitute during the 2-1 victory over Sunderland on Saturday, but the Argentine boss is adamant the Togo striker is part of his thinking. Pochettino said: "He is an important player for us. "When I get the chance to play him I will as he is a good player. This was posted about 40 mins ago
Also from Sky Poch was asked if Soldado would be leaving his reply was: When asked if Roberto Soldado would be leaving Tottenham in the transfer window, Mauricio Pochettino said: "Any player is for sale. "But we will work hard to keep all our players because we have a lot of games and we need a strong squad." Any player? Really? Oh dear
I saw that one, too. We’ve been doing well with academy players lately. Pochettino has said we’re going to continue to emphasize them. Carroll is one of the standouts. It makes no sense to sell him for 5 million, so I’m inclined to dismiss the rumor.
As usual a host of names has been linked with us and up until the penalty miss I was quite happy about Mirallas, not sure now. There's a name called Islam Amibi or something and I seriously don't know.
Carroll for £5m would be a bargain so I hope that's not true. I'd rather bring him back in the Summer anyway, we're likely to shift one or two CM's so there'll be room for Tom. He's a good player that has had bigger names in front of him here at Spurs but Poch has shown this season that the bigger names been nothing if they're doing the business so he has every chance of staking a claim. Selling Naughton for £5m is good business. We signed him and Walker for a combined £8m fee I believe so we've definitely made a profit when you consider what Walker is worth now. Best of luck to Naughton too.
Who would take Milner, if he would come? I think he's a good player who comes in for some undeserved criticism. Could work in the 2 or the 3 in a 4231 and is HG. And he'd bring some experience and maybe calm to the midfield - might be good for the younger players we have coming through
I think he's a good player, high energy always trying to make things happen. Is he available? Although we do have Chadli who performs a similar role.
