    as much as i rate vaughan i cannot agree with this like, we had 30 odd shots to their 4 and totally dominated the midfield, how we lost that game defies gravity

    Aye, but everytime Blackpool got possession that day they looked dangerous, they moved it quickly across midfield, and played incisive passes down the channels and got in behind us.

    Fair do's maybe a bit of poetic license.... But he had a very good game home and away, neat and tidy on the ball with a good engine. Funny how some players look better in the premier league than in the championship, maybe he is a late bloomer.

    It happens quite regularly don't it.

    I think you actually get a bit more time on the ball in the Premier League, as teams are more organised and keep shape better, that's maybe why he looked a class apart last season, as he uses the ball well.

    Must admit i didnt see much of Vaughan last season and Adams did take most if not all of the limelight, but i just cant see what the big deal is with him, only stand out thing was that goal he done.

    35 games started, 0 sub, 25 shots, 7 on target, 2 goals, 2 assists

    Aye, but as an outsider you noticed Adam, Vaughan beat him to the Blackpool player of the year award.

    Fans and players awards, i believe.

    Agreed that the stats don't look amazing but he did win the player of the year award at Pools ahead of Adam. I don't think you can go too far wrong with signing players that the fans rate highly! After all we are a knowledgeable bunch....... Ish :)

    well Bardsley won ours and most on here wouldnt mind seeing him gone lol (or used as backup and not a starter anyway)

    Maybe the only reason Adam Didnt get it was because he wanted to bugger off in January to Liverpool so the fans never really forgive him, but Adams was the stand out player for them last season, there is no Question about that.
