    So, the best wind up the Portsmouth lot can now manage is to question whether our success might possibly be affected if our owner possibly sold us to someone else who migth also possibly be rich? Okay. I'll take that. :)

    I'd almost, but not quite, look the other way if one of our forum went over to the Pompey one and started a similar scoffing thread. I wonder how the Blue ones would react..? <whistle>

    That is most probably because of your, now thankfully long passed, Pompey connections Fran. Liebfraumilch is the only "wine" they sell in poor old Pompey while we Sotonians have been imbibing the very best claret that France has to offer for over 900 years. It all comes down to good taste and knowing your wine. Skates drink really rough rum or grog that is only palatable when diluted with water while we in Southampton have been drinking the very best Cognac imported from the Saintogne region (with a name like that what else would you expect) of France and there is archaeological evidence to prove it.
