Will be a good game, fierce, big atmosphere and rivalry, but we're going to get tonked. Gerrard will waltz back into the midfield next to Lucas shifting Hendo to RWB and Markovic to LWB. Mario will play up top and Coutinho/Sterling will have no one to pass to. Chelsea's midfield will have all of the ball and breeze past us. Our best bet is some dodgy set pieces which Gerrard might put away.
Are those. Cycling gloves?? If Rodgers brings Gerrard back for this game I'm personally gonna hunt the twunt down and give him the bitch slap he deserves
No idea what BRod will do tonight, difficult to say as Borini has started the last couple - might need his work rate and just have to pray he can slot if he gets a chance.
For me the only logical thing to do when this must be won is to simply drop borini and stick in Gerrard Knowing Rodgers will this is my view if the only place to put him However to change it round just to rest lads on a must win game would be crazy If we have a specific Chelsea game plan fine but I doubt Rodgers has one We will see Mingmuck Can Skertl sahko Markovic Henderson Lucas Moreno Gerrard sterling coutinho Really really worried about hazard destroying us as Gerrard won't help markovic one jot
Tony Barrett said that Rodgers will delay his selection to give Gerrard as much as time as possible to prove his fitness - which says it all really. If Gerrard is fit, then I expect him to replace Borini, and Sterling to go up front.
Hope Stevie chooses boots with long studs if he gets a game, it'll be very slippy out there with heavy snow forcast to be falling during the match.
