Is this something to worry about ? or is he trying to tell us something? http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport/...erness__after_Charlton_s_5_0_loss_at_Watford/ "He's met the players, he's had some chats and they are well aware of how he wants to play as well, so we tried that in the first-half. Not a glowing report on his style
So Luzon has been coaching them, even though he doesn't have a work permit? Who's going to make a citizen's arrest?
Matthews very positive, supportive in the media with comments like that, wonderful if it is all genuine from matthews....
The only thing with Matthews is I think he's taking a political approach in trying to become our next manager. I'm currently taking everything he says with a pinch of salt. He also meet's RD's criteria - cheap.
We didn't try any 'new style' at Watford. We huffed & puffed until their 3rd goal went in, and then gave up.
Yeah exactly how i saw it Super, ultimately i'd prefer Matthews over just bringing in someone from the network of coaches.
Funny, I read it completely differently. To me Matthew was trying to pass on the blame by claiming they were playing to Luzon's instructions. Don't blame him, either. He has been First Team coach under three managers and probably thinks his luck is about to run out and doesn't want any more sh1t to stick to his CV.
