Watched the game again, and Cazorla's performance was one of the best individual displays I have seen from an Arsenal player in a long long time. It was the complete midfield performance, a 10/10 display. He scored, assisted, defended, controlled our tempo and beat players with ease. It was like a Xavi/Inestia hybrid performance.

All hail our little Spainish genius!!!!

Yep, it's no exaggeration to say that it was a world class performance. Especially against a side that have such a strong spine. Santi was like a little magician weaving his way through that City MF and he basically left them sitting on their arses. It was like the ball was stuck to his feet with glue, they couldn't shake him off or nick the ball off of him.

Also as you mention he defended really well too, made some great tackles on the edge of our area, mopped up and made sure he was first to loose balls and played the ball out of defence in a really calm and measured way.

Add to that the pen he scored and the beautiful assist for Giroud and it was the perfect all round performance.

Ozil is going to have to work hard to get back into this team and that can only be a good thing.

He was Amazing. What we gonna do with Ozil? ..move him out wide?

Gonna be a tricky selection process that's for sure.

Still don't know how Neil Ashton gave Cazorla a 7/10 for that performance. 10/10 performance and one of the best, if not the best, individual midfield displays I've seen in recent seasons.

In a 4-1-4-1 we could play him alongside Santi instead of Ramsey. That's the advantage of having an out and out DM in the team.

They'll probably get it changed to apply only between Feb and July.
