With EL I wasn't expecting a fight for the top 4 but what we have seen on times has been utter tripe...

We look guaranteed to concede and that's never a good sign Is It

Mind we have had bad Injuries all season really not that that Is the full excuse for some of our performances...

I thought you guys would be up there again tbh given the cash outlay...

    When are everton playing tonight?

I reckon they've decided to have a fight of it now... just like LFC did after a bad spell. shell shcok first, then every man for himself then the manager gets a grip of it again and starts to build. Last two have been better.

West brom isn't it? Pulis will have had them working quite hard defensively so this will be interesting to see what happens.

anyway............ re: europa... I reckon the timing of the next round is problematic for us, not sure about you lot. I think personally LFC will have to have a go in the first leg at home and then will prob rest lads/ play badontelly and the like in the second and i dunno but we could get dumped out.

Some sides seem to like to get this far or the following round and get out of the comp asap. People who try to win the freaking thing always suffer but it is good development for a squad to play in it.

I bet Rodgers would love a lucky pot win, especially with the resources at hand. But he has a dossier, a plan......

That plan will come back into place once biscuit legs is back and not being injured by Roy.

I don't think the next round Is problematic for us tbh we are not In fook all else<laugh>

As long as we can get around the mid table and not worry about those below we may as well give EL a serious bash that's all we can do after our recent bout of gashness....

Everton 12th on 23 points, 4 points off the drop if this stays 0-0, with a resurgent Palace to play away from home next, the Merseyside derby after that, and away to Chelsea who just battered Swansea 5-0 after that. Not looking great is it

    Questions for you and Tobes:

    1. What's gone wrong then in your opinion?? You looked quite good last season.

    2. Would you be booing that performance??

    3. Do you keep Roberto to to??

    4. (What do you call an Italian with a rubber toe??)

  12. Why was Mirralles allowed to take the penalty? Was that why he was taken off at HT? If so, is team orders more important than the result since Mirralles is one of your best players (IMO)?

God knows but clearly something Isn't right at all I don't think all Is well In the dressing room tbh??

  15. I'd understand giving Mirralles a rollicking but taking him off was silly, he's a player that can create something and get you that crucial goal. Baines deserved a rollicking too for letting have the penalty

I don't like to say this but Gerrez seems to be right in that signing your loaned players only makes you stand still.

Everton signed Barry and Lukaku so their first team stood still while everyone else around them improved.

Lukaku is a good player, I don't think he's worth £28m. Could and should Everton have got a forward for £10m and then used the rest of that money to shore up the CB and CM positions?

I think teams have worked out how to nullify our full backs and as above theres no plan B and a refusal to play any different

I wouldn't keep him If the next 4-5 games are the same tbh

I wouldn't boo as It doesn't help but I can see why the frustration that's down to the managers style of play this season people have had a titfull and rightly so
