    Quite possibly the worst press conference I've seen. Vague manager who doesn't show leadership.

    Chief Executive with no authority in her voice, no explanations and just sheepish laughter and cop-out answers.

    Just a shambles. Crap display from all involved, with the stupidest of stupid comments from the CEO at the end when she talks about the owner.

    BBC pundit Danny Mills has fired a shot at Stuart Pierce. According to Mills, Pierce isn't a great coach, nor tactician or motivator. His players suss him out, and Mills has personal experience of it (ManC).

    I actually agree with Mills too, and although I haven't listened to it yet, I believe he's uttered those words on Friday Night Sport last night on Radio 5. Going to listen to it now as I fall asleep. Wonder if I'll be awake by the time they get to Saints. Oops, Keown has said something positive about us already. The pundits on the show will preview all the games over the weekend, which should prove interesting.

    I read that article about ,Pearce. It made me laugh infer what happened between them before. Mills may have a point though.

    I've subsequently heard him make that comment about Pierce/Pearce, and it isn't a distillation or inference from other words, he actually says what was reported**. And neither of the other pundits on the show, Jenas and Keown questioned his opinion. It was more a case of well. you would know.

    **Which makes a change.

    I think, several years ago, I decided Pearce was a Pierce, and it stuck. Takes some undoing. I also do the same with Jonathan Pearce. [<- there you see my corrected spelling of him].

    Update on Danny Mills comments about Stuart Pearce [not Pierce]:

    Was half listening to 606 last night and a caller came in criticising his view. I didn't take much notice, only that the caller was talking over presenter Jason Mohammad and Mills. This evening, I see that it became quite tasty. The caller considered Mills' comments to be rather personal on Pearce, and called him a Jackal. I'd say that was rather personal.
