54 Rangers Fans have been arrested in Glasgow during the city's annual Orange Walk.

Around 8,000 from the city's 182 lodges marched in the parade, which was followed by a rally in Kelvingrove Park.
Strathclyde Police warned that drinking in public and sectarian behaviour from Rangers fans who attach themselves to the parade would not be tolerated.

Officers say the event passed without major incident and that 54 Rangers fans had been arrested by early evening for a variety of offences.

Chief superintendent Anne McGuire said: ``Overall the parade has passed with no major disorder, violence or damage to any property, and we are satisfied that, so far, the event has passed without serious incident.

``Whilst there has been a significant amount of anti-social behaviour, mainly through street drinking and urinating in public, the vast majority of incidents that occurred were low level disorder.

``The parade has been largely peaceful and the general behaviour of those taking part has been good.

Can you see what I did there?

Thanks Dev, I thought it was pretty good too. I'm a bit pissed off that somebody has used it before though, although admittedly was the obvious one to use.

What do you think has more strength, my view backed up by photos, internet articles and newspapers articles or Dev's view with NOTHING to back him up.

Sorry, just noticed, that's "Newspaper" singular surely?

And we all know that newspapers don't lie don't we?

Dev doesn't have to back up anything as it's you making the accusation. Do you have conclusive proof that would (in your words) stand up in court? Or are you just talking bollocks as we all suspect?

"54 Arrests at an Orange Walk. It MUST have been Rangers fans."

May have been 54 of the misguided green brigade venting their spleen?

It may well have been, it's certainly not impossible because after all, it's only "a report in a newspaper". I never take newspaper stories as fact, and certainly not when only one newspaper has actually printed an allegation, especially when the wording of that story was obviously lifted directly from another source and modified to meet tabloid standards in the process.

    That's just common sense.

Has ANYONE reported that it was Rangers fans? ANYONE?

It seems that you are actually back to your old tricks of assumption, just like you assumed that "some of the trouble (if not all) was from the Mariners fans" despite other sources and photographs saying differently.

Like I said show me somewhere were it mentions that ONE of those eleven was a Mariner fan. I'm going easy on you, you just need to find ONE.

Because Dev, yourself and I all know that he CAN'T. I am going to believe photographic eveidence, an internet article and a newspaper report from a well respected newspaper over some guy who has nothing to backup his claims. NOTHING. <ok>

I don't think you can label The Scotsman in the same bracket as the red tops. But anything to try and backup your weak defence.
