Your deflection is very funny. You deserve some credit for that. I give credit where its due, I have class. Unlike your club..... who blame everyone.... BT, refs, aliens, cats...
Yes deflection. Have a read of your last few posts in the thread then post another reply full of smileys to indicate your just having a laugh
Would be interesting (use that word loosely) to get Lonly's thoughts if Chelsea dont win it this season
This is the time for Jose Mourinho's mind games.Nothing is going to please more than Liverpool going to Stamford Bridge and dent their title bid just as they did to us last season.
Yeah, but is that going to happen? Spurs ripping them to shred apart, Chavs have looked a class act throughout their entire squad. 'Pool, by contrast, has looked at complete and utter shambles.
If we bottle it with three games to go against a second XI focussing on Europe and choke a three-goal advantage v relegation fodder, you should be able to predict my thoughts. What were your thoughts after the Chelsea and Palace debacles?
The pressure is back off Chelsea, something drastic would have to happen now for them to lose it from this point. Yet they do have City next and that could make things very interesting
A very contradictory statement. 5 points with 16 games to go is only an unassailable lead for Sun-reading, Sky Sports News telly clappers. 8 points clear with five games to go would be a major choke though. Aguerrrrrro
I think it's to early to say that. 5 points isn't a lot, once the CL kicks in points will be dropped by both City and Chelsea. You also have to factor in that City have Barca so will likely be out of the CL, so they'll just have the league to worry about, where as Chelsea could go far in the competition. People say the game at Stamford Bridge is key , but they're forgetting aswell that there are 15 other games to play. I seem to remember Chelsea losing at Villa and Palace in the run in that ultimately cost them last year. So I wouldn't be taking any points for granted particularly away from home
I think these type of games always favour the chasing team. A draw is probably a good result for you guys, however City will feel they need a win to close the gap. I remember we lost the title to you guys at OT when we went into the game knowing a draw was a good result for us, and we ended up losing. I think the mind set of your team needs to be to try and win the game, but it's very easy to fall into the trap of playing for a draw
Anything's possible and you're right, 5 points isn't a great deal. But City haven't convinced me this season and I think they're more likely to drop points elsewhere than we are, and if we go 8 points clear even at this stage I think it's a bit too much.
If City lose to Chelsea, it's as good as done. I think they are more likely to be caught by one of the teams below them going on a decent run than they are to catch Chelsea. If they win at Stamford Bridge, my opinion might change. But they look shot this year.
Yeah 8 points would be tough to overhaul! I think you probably will win the league in the end. The thing with City is they are so over reliant on Aguero and Toure, we seen on Sunday with a half fit Aguero and no Toure they really struggled. Chelsea haven't had many injuries yet, but I think you have more of a squad to cope with them. If City can't keep there key players fit , they're going to struggle to get near you, but if they can they should give you a strong challenge
It's got to be remembered that we made Chelsea look silly. We tore them new ones all over the park, every which way but loose. It finished 5-3, but the truth is, no one would have been surprised if it had finished 10-0 to us, we were that good. So, yes, it is possible that Chelsea can bottle it (like they did so spectacularly against us). They shouldn't - and Ozzie shouldn't scoff if they don't, because all I'm doing is asking the question "can Chavs bottle it?" not "will" they.
