Here are the latest scores Beefy 6 Cove 5 StanD 4 BHDan 2 Lapras 1 TClass 0 Meowth 0 BChief 0 Gas -2 So week 2 of the playoffs has come and gone and the table looks like this. Lapras 12 Cove 11 Beefy 8 BHDan 8 StanD 6 Meowth 4 BChief -5 TClass -7 Gas -11
As there are only 2 matches this week we are going to play a more in depth version of the game. Packers @ Seahawks Colts @ Patriots Under each game put 4 scores, one for each quarter away team 1st. eg Packers @ Seahawks 0-7 3-0 7-7 7-10 This would make a final score of Packers 17-24 Seahawks. The points, bonus points and penalties will remain the same for the final score totals. You get 2 points for each team you pick as winners so a total of 8 to be had there. If you get one team's score exactly right in a game (win or lose) you get three points. If you get both team's score in a match right it's 8 points!! (3+3 for the scores and 2 extra bonus point's) However, if your scores aren't exactly right there will be penalties, which will work as follows; The differences will be added up for each match; If you are under 10 out you don't lose out, from 10 to 19 it's -1 point from 20 to 29 it's -2 points from 30 to 39 it's -3 point's 40 and above it's -4 point's As well as this there are extra bonus points and penalties for each quarter. 2 points for each correct score (both teams), but -1 if you are over 5 points wrong (both teams again) EG using the same example Packers @ Seahawks 0-7 3-0 7-7 7-10 = 17-24 But the real scores were like this, 7-3 0-14 3-3 7-7 = Final score 17-28 Your score for this per quarter would be -1 -1 0 2 =0 Plus the overall bonuses, 2 for right winning team 3 for correct Packers score and 0 penalties for under 10 total score. Giving a total of 5 for that game. Go For It!!!!!
BHDan: I'm intrigued that you can see 55+ points in both games with (presumably) very low temperatures at each venue, a consequent emphasis on the running game, and the likelihood that Rodgers won't be very mobile. Or am I misreading the signs ?
Packers 27 - Seahawks - 24 10 - 7 3 - 7 7 - 3 7- 7 Patriots 37 - Colts - 17 10 - 3 7 - 0 7 - 7 10 - 7
Colts can beat the Pats, if you are unsure go for the spread Colts again. Home of the 12th fan.Take Green Bay by a field goal the last seconds
For me, the ideal situation would be for the Colts to defeat the patriots and the Seahawks to defeat the Packers, and then the Colts defeat the Seahawks in the superb owl. Whether that happens or not, I am skeptical.
Maybe I made this a little too hard! Only Cove got above zero. Packers @ Hawks 13-0/3-0/0-7/6-15/22-28 Colts @ Pats 0-14/7-3/0-21/0-7/ 7-45 TClass -5 Stan 0 Beefy -1 BHDan -10 Lapras -3 Cove 1 Meowth -7 BChief -15
I think this is a learning curve for all of us. Next year maybe we shouldn't have to be so precise. After all the sport is such an unpredictable one.
