All about opinions Reg, I fear if we are to rely on this guy to score us goals (lets face it, how many has he scored since he signed?) then we are screwed. Yes he has looked sharp, but he simply cannot score, he had 2 decent chances, as I said, its just my opinion, but Graham is way out of his depth in this league.

I think he has looked good in the last couple of games and if he shows willing in training, then he deserves a chance.
Remember he was scoring quite regularly for Swansea before we signed him, so he can do it.

On the radio this morning they said we are unlikely to sign anyone else this window.

I prefer one good signing over a few squad players and Defoe is that.

Of course I'd like Dick van Dyke and others but it doesn't look like it will happen.

If we stay up I think we'll get two or three quality signings in the summer, we are at the stage now where we can buy to improve positions rather than bring in numbers of average players as has happened before.

With Johnston, Rodwell and Defoe we have three players capable of winning games.
With Seb and Casserole we have two top midfielders and Panty is a top goalie.
PVA looks to be the business.
Giac and Alvarez I really don't know what to do about them.

The players to replace would be the likes of Gomez, Jones, Buckley and possibly Wes who are all ok but can be improved on.

I saw it this way as well, he looks on a par with our other options at the moment, but we need better tbh.

I agree with you MrRaw, he looks like he will get it the right positions to get the chances, hopefully he will start to take some of them.

Even Owen at his most prolific was a 1 in 2 striker so if we don't create chances any striker will struggle in our side <ok>

Wow, he only did two things and that was missing two chances which were put on a plate.

Altidore looked quite good to quite a few posters on here, it's called blind faith. Like Altidore, Graham is hopeless and will not be a regular goal scorer for Sunderland.

Excuse me? Rodwell has been one of the biggest let downs for me, he's never stood out all season and never showed any star quality, doesn't look like a 10m player at present and the out of form, out the game a while, not match sharp excuses are starting to run out.
