Would you rather I took to the board in the spirit of some of your posters and openly attack the mockery of your club? Nah, I've more respect than that. I eat, sleep and breath Sunderland but there you go, if you think I care more for Hull and Bruce it speaks volumes of your judgement. What this has to do with the discussions on thread I don't know. If you find me boring you don't have to read my post. You're essentially boring yourself by reading them, who intentionally bores themselves? You apparently. Now I'll respect the thread even if you won't, back on topic. Very Clearly how so? Did you see your physios pre game assessment? Of course you didn't. What of the halftime injury assessment? You don't know and can't know unless you're itk, in which case I think there's a few of your fellow posters who'll be looking for answers into your injury crisis.
Because he is not fit enough, he's come from a slower league. He was blowing out of his arse after Everton, you watch Southampton players the shift they put in they hardly sweat after.
Maybe not Bruce's fault he's been playing catch up all season, then missed two weeks. Rosenior got injured cos he was carrying another injury. Snoddy was unlucky. Robertson bad challenge, Jela brought back to early. Chester Fat youth Collins fault. Ramirez cannot keep up with the pace and Diame is unlucky I guess. I hope we never have to witness MaGuire and Dawson together. We need two full backs, two strikers and a creative midfielder. Offload Huddlestone for me. Livermore stank the place out.
Sky Sports 1 (402) theyre going to analyse the game after this commercial break for anybody wanting to watch/reflect.
At least plenty of the City fans who attended the match kept singing throughout. Aluko was last to come over but he seemed genuinely grateful for our support.
There have been a few players over the time Bruce has been here that have been injured, played then got injured again straight after. Only off the top of my head Dudgeon, Brady, Aluko, Diame and to an extent Jelavic have got injured, played again soon after then missed a big chunk of time since.
One of highlights today was David Pleat's highly variable pronunciation of players' names. One the best was near the end of the game: Fuggerolia!
It has everything to do with the discussions you were developing. What proof do you have to keep developing your Bruce is an injury creator theme? Not a great deal that I have seen, so, having said it, let it go unless of course you are one of the sad-sacks who hold a Bruce grudge. Why do I need a physios pre-game assessment when I have a perfectly good pair of eyes? Both players were clearly, yes, clearly involved in incidents that had a real impact on their condition; did you see them? Both players were highly mobile and not showing any sign of carrying an injury up until this point. I read what I want and if someone wants to post drivel on this board I will, if I decide to, make comment; if they then want to defend their sorry thought process with a truely moronic post then, I need do little else than point that out. Do you actually watch games and understand what happens.
I think he (or the medics) mayhave got it wrong on a couple of occasions, but that happens at every club with every manager; but do you think that some injuries/weaknesses need a match to test it? What about asking how many players get through it, to the benefit of the team and club? How about asking how many players push for inclusion. If there is going to be a which-hunt perhaps it should be on team selection and formation, but, those are seriously affected (now) by injuries, aren't they.
A Fuggerolia ? Sounds like something he'd get up to with one the prossies he's always shafting. Mucky bastard.
Fez, weren't you on a bit of a crusade about Bruce bringing Rosey on against Everton (wasn't it?) when he had a niggle? And now you're defending him for doing it at other times?
Pleat is a moron. However the talkshite coverage was worse. They were using every possible moment to slag off the team, the city and the manager. I guess Collymore has to take his anger out on someone and he cant get away with gf/wife beating anymore.
Just watched the first half on Sky. The team played well. Bruce hasn't become a bad manager in a few months. I agree he made a mistake by not getting more strikers. You need at least four Premier League quality strikers. His team selection has been reasonable given the injuries. You are not going to go though 90 minutes of a football match without several mistakes by players. The main reason why we are in the relegation places is because of the injuries. The constant criticism of players and manager is pathetic.
