    Sorry, mito, I was indulging in a mild piss-take with this:

    My point being that we don't really know whether or not Rodgers was urging them to go forward because we only ever got to see a few seconds of him about half a dozen times during the game.

    Markovic and Sterling never fully got into the game, imo. Not for the first time, Coutinho was the most involved and most creative. A little ironic that we managed a two goal margin in a game where our attack seemed to be under-performing even by this season's standards.

    I think arsenals performance tonight is a good example of how defending well can lead to big results in big games.

    It's a worry if Arsene has finally clocked on that he has to adapt his style in certain games.

    we know some lads did but carra and gerrard never did.... hoofer and hollywood were never into the subtleties of the game... hence mls and punditry..

    Funny thing is everyone remembers that arsenal teams back 4 but not midfield.... Hmmmmm could it be they were just a midfield that had neck pain from seeing the ball donkeyed over their heads all day?
