You cannot know there is a God, you can only believe it. And I speak not as an atheist, but as a suspended Christian (I have been confirmed in the C of E as an adult and am a huge admirer of the humanity of Jesus).
What? Did you choose to be straight (presuming you are)? And nobody can 'know' there is a God. Your reasoning is at best bizarre in the extreme.
The only 'choice' someone has with regard to their sexuality, is to pretend to be something they are not.
Looking at it realistically...it is easier to conform so I don't believe men choose to be homosexual. It is who they are. As for lesbians, I think most are naturally homosexual, but for some I think there may be a political element (anti-men) so maybe a life choice. Could be talking out of my hat there, but just something I've wondered about.
Some trouble at the Africa Cup of Nations with people storming the stadium. Breaking down fences and climbing 20 ft to get in. When the game kicked off in a stadium that should hold 34K, they reckon there was an extra 10K inside. Apparently not rioting as such, but frightening and dangerous. Hope no one got hurt.
Catch of the year? http://www.cricket.com.au/news/came...ny-caught-short-by-laws-of-cricket/2015-01-18 (The ad that you have to watch is only about ten seconds) Shows great presence of mind to think so quickly under pressure. Vin
Finally watched the Glee Season 5 nationals episode. Was quite moving actually, as the New Direction's performance was dedicated to Finn, and there were flashbacks during their performance. Also they covered my favourite U2 song.
