"McGregor Cocked up" is becoming a very common thing, and how do you know our strikers would of scored, the West Ham GK is alot better than ours and would of most likely of saved them! .... stop looking on the brightside of things and get reall!
That's the first time one of his mistakes directly led to goal for a long time, I'm not counting WBA because when you have a whole wall infront of you, the ball shouldn't be going in, not from there. Adrian isn't that much better than McGregor, he makes the same mistakes (he was terrible last season) as our keeper does.
We are going to sign Ameobi and Evans on free transfers and will get Lennon on loan. We will not be bringing in anyone who costs any sort of money because the Allams are refusing to put in anymore money in transfers. We have enough room in our wage budget for these three and any loan fee that Spuds want for Lennon will come out of the 1million or so we have left in our transfer budget from the Ince fee being lower than budgeted for.
There's only one deluded idiot on here and most of us know who it is. So do us all a favour and give it a ****ing rest. As OLM said earlier "You're becoming exceptionally tedious".
Individual errors are costing us dear, and McGregor's cost us today but just as he has cost us a goal today, he saved us from certain defeats vs WBA at home, QPR away, and if you think he is the major reason we are in the **** then you are deluded. Davies, Quinn, Elmo, Robertson have all been to blame for individual errors that have cost us goals in the last few weeks- I don't see them getting the same amount of stick.
Davies was just as responsible for the first goal as MacGregor, he should of beaten Carroll to the ball
Absolute garbage! Mcgregors mistake, even Bruce said that! cant keep blaming the defenders, when its the GK that is in the wrong, picked the ball up last week and pushed the ball to their striker today, why do you think I care what you think of me, when you can't even judge we have a terrible GK. GK's do make mistakes yes but not often in the PL..thats the difference between the PL and chmpionship and im afraid McGregor is championship at best! Face facts!
For Christ's sake, it's such an over-reaction, was he terrible when he was making flying saves to allow us a clean sheet against Everton or WBA? He played really well against Sunderland and against QPR on the opening day. He's had a couple of errors, but the other keepers make more mistakes than you think, but their bad kicks and minor errors are missed off MoTD, trust me, they still happen. Adrian, the keeper you keep claiming is way better than Mags, was dodgy as **** last season, it's only this season he's got better, but he's still mediocre in terms of PL quality. Remember when we had Guzan? He wasn't spectacular for us and many were lamenting us not signing Manonne at the time and he's gone on to be very good. Goalkeepers mistakes are highlighted more because they're the last line of defence; of course their mistakes appear more costly, in a defence or a midfield there's often 3 others around you so it's easier for the mistake to go unnoticed. Davies could've got to that loose ball for their first goal and he couldn't do anything about Downing's either, he still managed to make saves to keep the scoreline down as well. Your repeated belittling of our goalkeeper based on a couple of mistakes is incredibly harsh, but honestly, he's saved us far more times than he's cost us.
Actually I started the thread mate, don't tell me what I can and can't do. Tigerpants is of the opinion we need a new first choice goalkeeper and I'm of the opinion that we don't, at least not yet. Transfer related and a pissing contest. See, it can be two things.
