I think we should loan salah and try and buy a quality striker for less than £4mill

I hope its not fletcher either after watching match of the day he missed a few sitters and when I say missed I mean missed, not the GK saved them!

If only we could create sitters. Main concern with Fletcher for me is his injury record. He certainly isnt the worst striker in the Premier League, and he is still only 27 or something.

 

Interesting that Blackburn have commented that they are in negotiations with an unnamed Premier League club re Gestede, I have still have the feeling this will either be West Brom or Palarse mind.

 

Gestede himself has stated that he wishes to go to Crystal Palace.

 

Palace are reported by sky to be the club in for him, stumbling block at the moment is the fee, Blackburn reported to be holding out for 5 million plus.

 

£5m for Gestede is ridiculous.

As for Salah, his agent has reported they are currently in talks with Roma......not a chance.

As for Lennon, if we have any budget, we'll spunk it on a striker not a winger.

As for Fletcher, Slumberland will want him to partner Defoe and why would they give a relegation rival a striker??

 

I could see Lennon on loan for the remainder of the season, maybe with a commitment to buy if we stay up. Salah may like the fact that Elmo is here and we have stark raving lunatic Egyptian owners, just a thought.
