Talk all over Twitter today is that the Witch was confronted by a group of Charlton fans on the train on the way home from the Watford game, the discussion ended with her in tears looking for support from others on the train but getting none, seems Twitter is split about 70 to 30 in support of these fans. Perhaps the current situation is the Douche's fault not hers but she is the mouth of the Douche so perhaps she also has to accept the role as the ears of the Douche as well. These fans treated her as the Chief Executive of Charlton and not the female Chief Executive of Charlton ...... I have no problem with a female Chief Executive but please don't cry when confronted by male fans ..... ffs they were never going to get into a fight with you were they! Millwall refunded their fans ticket prices after a disgraceful performance against Bradford.... is the Douche going to do the same? AllHell
Would you prefer her to hide away and issue statements from an ivory tower. I think you are foolish to bite the ear that is at least hearing views first hand. I would guess she won't be mingling on away days any more... That won't benefit you the fans in the long run.
Maybe it's time she did that ice bucket challenge in the White t shirt like Jim Davidson requested... It's too hard to speculate on how much power she has; I suspect we all suspect it's very little but then we have to accept it's a very difficult position for her to be in in that she's in London all the time, Roland isn't. If he makes a decision she has to handle it's immediate fallout and think on his feet, not hers. That's a very unfair position to be put in. If she was to resign that would ruin her relationship with Duchaletet; but it could make her a bit of a martyr in terms of highlighting Roland's totalitarian mismanagement (as well as letting her clawback some dignity). But having seen that video on Twitter I do disagree with the man's in your face and uneloquent attitude; but then when else would any supporter have the opportunity to speak up and be heard?
Here is the video, you can make your own mind up. https://fbcdn-video-p-a.akamaihd.ne..._=1421676080_7c084137440be4a7b669f0daa8831a5d
she has balls. i would never have got the train back with the fans after that game. she's full of hot air - nothing in the video of any use
CEOs, politicians, managers, etc., are all accountable to stakeholders. Each time you buy a ticket (or season ticket) that makes you a stakeholder. That gives you a democratic right to express your opinion (providing you don't break the law in doing so). The individual did not threaten KM in any way, he was assertive and adamant, but no way implying injury or harm. He asked a question and allowed time for response, and interjected with a rebuttal to seek what actually went on. Most people don't get this sort of opportunity, as CEOs and owners hide away in their mansions, and questions that are asked are in carefully controlled environments, with hand picked journalists and pre-written statements. If more people scrutinised, maybe we wouldn't have been relegated from the premier league, or championship, sold our best players without sound logic. Would make the owner be honest and open with us. Do feel sorry for KM, as she's just a public face to some Brussels bureaucrat!
She did very well to front up to that. The bloke kept interrupting her and was passively aggressive, at least others told him to calm it down. We as fans might not like the message but at least she had the balls to be outside her comfort zone and deliver it. Fair play to her as a person IMO.
There is a time and a place for discussion with the CEO of our Club, this was certainly not it; hanging KM. out to dry is not the answer. Obviously we are all upset and angry, if you want to confront somebody the guy should have asked for a fans meeting with RD. in attendance; he probably would have ignored it, but at least there should be a certain protocol observed. Fair play to the lady for at least talking to the guy, albeit he was in her face. The vast majority of Charlton fans are very understanding, but very angry at this point in time; this was not a good advert for the Club in my opinion.
The bloke that fronts her is a right Kunt. She is not some gestapo guard giving out towels at aushwitz, she is doing her job - in the way she and her boss thinks is the right way. The fat prick wants to show a bit of respect. The bloke does the Im big and intimidating thing that all fat ****ers try. Disgusted. Who is he anyway? Another tourist left over from the premiership years.
Don't worry boys - I have a an to save the club. I'm going to stand outside they valley this Monday, and stay on tinder long enough till KM pops up. I'll make sure I'm wearing a standard liege scarf in my profile picture so I gain her interest, but will make sure to have some sort of inspirational quote in the "about me" section and wrongly attribute it to the douche. Her in her rose tinted respect to RD wouldn't notice it was something from confucius. Now I won't go in to further details, but think of Craig David "7 days". And with that, I'll be the man running The Valley soon enough. And I invite you to be my board of directors. As for the video, I'm 70-30 split like Twitter. I think the fact sometimes he moves his body forward and raises his voice would contribute to her being a bit intimidated. But the fact she got so upset after engaging in a debate doesn't cover her in glory. I think it's best she makes her own way to the games in future. Or get the coward over from Belgium so he can answer fans fears and not hide behind meire.
It actually was'nt as bad as I feared when I read the first post (don't know how it finished mind). A couple of points. I think Chippie is probably right. It's nice she is travelling with fans, and has been for a while (probably won't last much longer) and did engage with the guy. Fair play to her on that. The bit I saw here, the Charlton supporter made very good arguements. It DOES take longer to appoint someone tan we took. KM and RD may have decided on sunday that the position of Peeters was untenable (no arguements from me there) but they quite clearly looked no further than their miniscule pool of talent for a replacement). KM can complain till she's blue in the face that she can't understand why the fans think she's a liar. RD has pulled her skirt down in public. If there was ever any thought of Jewell or Curbs, it was so fleeting as to be inexistant. The decisión was made sunday, and everything else was just taking us for mugs, and as KM found out yesterday, being a football fan does'nt necessarily equate with some sort of dumb, oaf like stupidity. As I said fair play to her for putting her viewpoint, but it is lies, and the anger won't disappear because she wants it to.
If it had been your mrs he had been balling out and bearing down on you would have given the fat fecker a ding. I thought only millwall supporters got off on intimidating women.
You are taught as a lawyer never to engage in debate unless both parties are standing or sitting so she is at a huge disadvantage anyway. The bloke is a prick and is aggressive. She was intimadated clearly and fat chops was not letting it go. Hardly an equality of arms argument and fat boy who will probably masterbate furiously over his 'win' ought to be very ashamed.
she's been employed to be the figurehead of the douche. she's probably paid an awful lot to do so - so in some lights i can see this video as right and wrong. its right, because that is what she is paid to do - answer our questions. she is the go to face of charlton and the only person engaging the fans its also wrong, as she is quite a small lady, in an unpleasant environment, being doorstepped by a big fella. she should not have put herself there. the guy made some valid points though. there is no way on earth luzon is better qualified than jewell or curbs for the job. luzon was favourite for the job, no one else had a chance. she should have said just as much and stuck to her "we'll make decisions, you live with it", instead of just lying to us. i'm pleased someone voiced our opinions.
A tourist who paid to spend a cold Saturday afternoon supporting Charlton in Hertfordshire..... I was at home yesterday T, where was you? If he had written to the club and asked for a meeting with the KM what do you think that would have got him.... possibly a polite NO probably no reply at all as her 'in tray' must be rather full of letters at present. He asks her questions and she answers.... he is not intimidating and she does not seem too worried in as far as she tries to answer the questions rather than moving to another part of the train. She is the Chief Executive of Charlton and the guy asks her questions about how the club is being run.... where is the problem in that??..... yes she didn't want to answer them but then she wouldn't because the club is being run so badly at present. Lawyers are trained only to discuss when both are standing or sitting?? I was on jury service last year, the defendants sat in the box while the solicitors stood to ask them questions...... my niece is a lawyer and questions your information in this regard .
I can see some of your points but fat chops is not 'voicing our opinions' just his, fatty is not allowing kM to finish Well if you must know I was watching my handicapped niece playing the piano. But then again I have 1500 Cafc games under my belt when you get that many you can dig at a fat prick who mouths off at a woman. You ought to know I work in the law and can tell you your niece ought to pay more attention to advocacy classes. The defendant stand in the dock in criminal trials unless invited to sit by the trial judge. In civil trials the sitting rules apply (see the cpr website) so you clearly are inattentive and fail to notice fat boy fails to let KM finish most of her replies. Which in my view disqualifies any debate at all. I bet your fat.
