Isn't there a rule that says we must play at least 6 homegrown players in team? I'm wondering a bit why Cellino is going for more imports, theoretically it doesn't make sense, unless some imports on loan are going to be moved on, or move on, which ever the case may be. However, haven't we played Silvestri, Berardi, Bellusci, Bianchi, Adryan, Antenucci and Duke in one match before. I'm presuming the rule also includes the 3 subs in the squad, which would allow for the 6 homegrown players.
Cryptic Tweet from Adryan, minutes before the team got announced. Link from him doesn't work, but is him getting dropped the sad thing? And is him leaving us the happy thing? Pure speculation on my part, but he hasn't even made the subs bench. Happy for one thing and sad for another. http://instagram.com/p/x9R6foHS_l/
try this one http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/01/17/adryan-sends-cryptic-tweet/page/1/ I agree with the line below. "It remains to be seen if the player will still be at Leeds next season, but for all his talent he is not currently being used in a side desperate for creativity and goals." If he was leaving I think media would'ave picked up on it by now. My opinion is, he's keeping Adryan out so he can keep playing his golden boy, I also think Redders is slowly ousting the new signings with a few exceptions because he can't oust all of'em. I think it's detrimental to team.
Be worried. I did see enough yesterday to think we have enough to stay up. My problem is that no way on gods green earth should staying up be seen as an achievement. Plus us staying up would be inspite of Cellino and Redfearn not because of them.
Beat you & the press to it! See post #263 above. I spotted it real time & tweeted it to Phil Hay to investigate at his leisure.
Leeds United, Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United are all interested in a move for Rangers midfielder Nicky Law, according to Goal journalist Graeme Bailey. The 26-year-old central midfielder has been at Rangers since 2013 and has accumulated over 50 appearances for the Scottish giants, scoring 16 goals. After recovering from liquidation to win successive Scottish 4th and 3rd tier Championship titles, the Ibrox side’s finances are still in dire straits.
Until they appear in a Leeds shirt you can't believe a thing. I would imagine agents drumming up interest
The Law one seems a bit rubbish TBH and I can't see Stokes coming either not with Cani still being linked with us
Leeds United are considering a move to sign ex-Arsenal midfielder Fran Merida. The 24-year-old is currently a free agent after being released from Brazilian outfit Atletico Paranense http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/leeds-united-consider-move-for-ex-arsenal-midfielder/?
Gone under the radar for a couple of days but we have been linked to Renan Gracia, Brazilian who played for Sampdoria but now plays for Al-Nasser in Dubai
Fraizer? Guilanelli is usually quite accurate too! http://themightyleeds.com/2015/01/31/leeds-linked-with-premier-league-striker/? Leeds have today been linked to out-of favour Crystal Palace striker, Fraizer Campbell, according to Italian journalist, Ema Guilanelli. Following the signings of Yaya Sanogo and Shola Ameobi, Fraizer Campbell will find chances with the first team squad hard to come by. A loan deal looks to be on the cards however, the Daily Mirror reports Campbell has told Palace manager Alan Pardew, he has no plans to leave Selhurst Park this month. Meanwhile, Millwall winger Martyn Woolford has been linked with a loan switch to Elland Road this month.
Interesting as I read the hold up with Cani was Cellino being concerned that he wasn't prolific enough, is Campbell any better? I can't see why we don't just wait now until the end of season, surely Atenucci and Sharp are as good or better than these strikers we are being linked with?
