Oh FFS Newcastle denied an absolutely nailed on last minute penalty

Do find it funny these pundits and interviewrs saying about how "many people thought Saints would be relegated this season".

Really? I don't think anyone seriously thought they'd get relegated after having £90m to spend in the transfer window compared to teams like Burnley, Leicester, Palace, WBA etc

Good for saints to see another transfer pay off

Though in fairness newkie have been gash... It's a good away win to chalk up though...

Rubbish. Nearly everyone had the as favourites for the drop after losing five first team players and 'appearing' not to have replaced them.

Like the saying goes, anyone wishing to get a CL place will need to finish above Southampton or ( if they do finish third) just below them.

I think they must be favourites for a CL place (excluding City and Chelsea). There is no reason why they can't keep up with the pace. Reminds me a bit of us last season :bandit:

Or easier still; anyone wishing to get a CL place need to finish in the top four!

PS...or win the CL or EL <ok>

There squad is tiny. Newcastle have no manager and are hitting there usual terrible slide now.

No Wanyama, Pelle not scoring and Schneiderlin out will cost them coming up.
