The following link shows all the transfers that have taken place in July for English clubs.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13971133.stm

All of the transfers that weren't frees and involved a fee were undisclosed. I know thats what happens now and it's the way of the world, but it's even happening with smaller clubs. It just pisses me off. Small rant over.

Our undisclosed fees were Hobbs £800k, Evans £500k and £300k.

It doesn't really matter that they're undisclosed, everyone seems to know what they are regardless.

Yeah. I keep track of transfers (http://tigerrick.50webs.com/transfers.htm) and the majority are undisclosed. You can generally find out the ball-park. I don't bother for most smaller transfers.

Undisclosed suits everyone, it's just the way things are.

When you look through the lists of transfers there is not much quality moving yet. Not much that Hull City dont already have. So when it will be interesting to see things step up a few gears over the coming weeks. As for the term undisclosed is that not a case of ""both clubs not wanting to reveal hiow much they have either overpaid or been ripped off on"" but as many say its gets out anyway.

i suppose that we should also take the total with a pinch of salt in many cases as this is often staged repayments, subject to appearences and either includes or not player or agent inducements. Gone are the days of the signing on fee and a testimonial after 10 years. I wonder how many transfers these day involve a straight forward cash transaction?

As far as I know, we are doing fairly straight deals, though I think the Man United lads are all subject to add-on's for promotion and have sell-on clauses.

With a normal club, if you sat dwn with a couple of year's accounts you coulld probably work them all out by looking at how much they owed each other club from one set of accounts to the next*. Our's will be complicated because of the renegotiation of payments we made last year but should still be doable if you looked at the values of player registrations (cost and net book value) and things like that but you'd need to know the length of contracts for that as well.

*the change = 12 monthly payments, so take the balance and add on however many months you've had the player you signed from them. You should then be right, give or take 1 monthly payment.
