I actually think that was the best we could play with the players in the team today. I don't think there was a lack of effort, but: Zamora and Hill are finished. How they can still be playing for a premiership team it's a joke. Barton makes at least one bad pass every game he must do better. Fer must learn to chase back when he gives the ball away. Vargas needs to make the right passes when he has done the hard part. The subs need to be used properly. That was a poor United team and other teams at the bottom may take points of them. Didn't think we could and I wasn't proved wrong. Same manager and coaches I expect no points in the next 3 games. What exactly did we buy Ferdinland for? Sandro should be back soon but for how long? Now we have a loan striker we don't use him?
Answers please on a post card and send to the the Manager and the scouting staff at Rangers Stadium W12.
It's getting harder to see us getting out of trouble come the end of the season, just seems that no matter what the team does or whoever is in charge, we seem to make a complete balls-up of the Premier League. With the money spent on this team over the last few seasons, surely we can expect some sort of survival in the top league - the owners must be getting as frustrated as us! Still, it wouldn't be QPR without the roller-coaster - keep the faith
That was not a "poor Utd team". Their movement and ball retention was simply from another Universe. If they had taken their chances, it could easily have been 4 or 5 nill.
Barton makes 3 bad passes per game That is acceptable wtf do you want? He covers more ground than anyone on th pitch He only has Henry to pass to for relief port sod
Barton is truly incredible. He is really a star and a leader on this team and that can't be said enough. For the reasons you mentioned, of course he's going to make some bad passes. He tries and pushes the other teams and that will get him into trouble here and there and when hardly anyone else gets into a position to do anything that means he needs to force the ball and that will lead to bad passes.
United will be a very good team come the end in fact a mighty force They had us chasing shadows LVG is doing a brilliant job imo It is some side he is building I do not agree they were poor at all Barton is Barton but today he did a good job against brilliant players at times esp Rooney who was coming very deep imo
Let me put my comment in some context. You look at his age, how long he's been with a team that's been so scattershot in its play and leadership under Harry -- moments of brilliance coupled with many moments of WTF? -- and what he has to work with, the fact that he comes to play each game and works hard makes him a stand-out in my mind. No, he's not a league-beater kind of incredible, but what I watch how he positions himself and plays I think that's pretty incredible. And yes, he is in many ways average. He could have easily just drifted away and we've seen lots of players go down that road (Consider the uselessness of Ferdinand in that respect). But he keeps the fight in and works hard and delivers some great plays regularly even if its not always or as much as we'd like.
I actually think he positions himself very poorly and ends up running around like a headless chicken chasing shadows. There is absolutely no denying his work rate.
Southampton didn't seem to allow them to be from another Universe when they played them at Old Trafford.so they can't be that great.
He is of course allowed to make mistakes, but not one major one each game which nearly cost us a goal. There was one again today against Utd when they could have scored due to a bad pass when it was 0-0. Although today his free kicks and corners were okay they are normally sxxt. He does give 100% I will give him that but he is an average midfield player. I don't see many premiership teams rushing to buy him or Henry if we get relegated. Barton isn't worth 90k per week that is for sure.
FFs.. Are we Gladiator's on this board or are we bitches? Stand up and fight for this club. Never ever, ever give in!
He's the south American version of Santa. People think he's the greatest but in truth, we only see him once a year.
He's certainly the type of player you'd want in the trenches with you and in the current squad we're lacking that attitude in too many positions...
