I think we're pretty comfortable, and Elia for me has looked really good. Not sure about Dusan today, feels like a Long replacement in the making. Clyne outstanding.

Feel a draw is probably fair enough after that half. We've looked comfortable defending in the main, but not overly threatening in attack. Cant see us losing this.

Is Forster just not loud enough?

I'd get Long on for Tadic around 65 minutes if it stays 1-1. He could make the difference in a game like this.

Yeah, I still think Gardos should have left it but 9 times out of 10 the ball would either go out for a throw in or balloon off Gouffran for a goal kick.

Edit:Whoops I meant to quote LTL.

Not so sure about that; we've had some pretty atypical breakdowns after the goal that could easily have led to a Newcastle lead.

I agree with 15 year pro CB, Carragher.... Gardos hasn't had a shocker at all. He made his mind up, was there before Fraser and cleared the ball. Just unfortunate. Those blaming either obviously just like a scapegoat.

And a fluke goal is all it was. Pelle is playing well, but he needs to make better decisions with the ball. He rushed too many things when he has created himself some time.

It was a case of him taking command of the situation. I applaud him for that, he was just very unfortunate.

Really unlucky. What's annoying is that Forster could have easily collected.

Agree. I'm not blaming Gardos, just thought he should have left it but that's from seeing it from replays sitting in front of the TV. This is a similar to a referee's decision. Referee's only get one look at it and seconds to make up their mind. Same with Gardos. Yet referees don't get cut any slack.

Gardos looks like a young Michael Schumacher.
