Funny you should ask because Christmas and new year ruined 2 months of 5 am work outs, however I'm currently getting hydrated and fuelled so I can start again tomorrow morning.

No i stopped going after the hull game after keegan left and won't be going till ashley is gone. Call me what you like but at least I stick by my guns. I was tempted a few years back but I knew it was just luck rather than the fat man's new found respect and aspirations.

Same for me. Feel as though I've set myself back to square one. Played a bit of golf which helps keep some of the fat off, but it ain't gonna keep you lean or build muscle. Looking back I'm wondering if it was all worth it? The missus was worse, the way she was putting food away I thought she was preparing for hibernation. Great figure and metabolism fortunately for her.

Why does it take months to get into shape and only hours to ruin it?

Only managed to get to the gym twice since Christmas, but weekly circuit training at karate club is back on again tomorrow. Hopefully can now shift some of that Christmas 'cheer'.

Just bought myself one of those fitbit thingies that monitors calories in and burned etc. great for setting targets but can get a bit addictive. Just walked 200 times round my dining room table as i was short on my steps taken today.

 

Sunderland managed to get rid of the Defoe feelgood factor within 2mins. 1-0 down to deflection off oshea.

 

I don't think walking to and from the fridge 35 times a day, to get your step count up, is really going to help you lose calories.

 

Yeh come to think of it - it eould have been cheaper to buy a fridge lock.
