My quid was looking lost before the last. Looks like his jumping hasn't been as improved as they thought it had
Rule The World is a bit of a pig I think. "...Wounded Warrior is no mug either and looks the value in the race..." Great call Boris!! I know the ground wasn't great but that looked harder than it should of been for TNO Boris - what are your thoughts? Not got a bean on anything at the minute but I think Faugheen will take some beating - I'm firmly in the Hurricane Fly camp and still think he will be the one to serve it up to Faugheen.
Bleeding Cooper gets another Giggy first string downed Get Davy back in Mickey! The New One out to the price he should be now. Each-way bet recommended as he should get third but needs to jump FAR better than that! 1/6 lol Faugheen lights up another cigar
He was off today, ground maybe? Jumped like a dog, worst ive seen him, he looked well beaten but his class got him up in the end. Im happy enough with it because it means ill probably get 4/1 on the day or the night before and we will see something a bit different to what we just watched. Realistically, Faugheen looks a bit special and he will take all the beating but ive made my bed.
Fair play Boris, but its not too late to join the Faugheen fanclub. I know u want to Realistically I think even most in the TNO fanclub have to admit now he lacks the acceleration of the true 2 milers. He won that race today like a 3 miler, STAMINA won him it. He couldn't even quicken as well as Bertimont, a handicapper Wonder what Faugheen would have done to that field??! God help The New One, as I think he'll be duly embarrassed come March.
Yeah I'm thinking that connections should have bitten the bullet and taken on Faugheen over Christmas to gauge where they are with regards to March. Ground is awful today and was a hell of a risk for a horse of TNO's class. Mind you, I'm guessing Twisters isn't a meteorologist so wouldn't have known it was going to be this bad.
I seriously wonder why the Twister would run his Champion Hurdle contender on ground like that at Haydock today - it is absolutely ****ing atrocious. I don't think you can draw any conclusions from a race run in conditions like that. Well done ste
Baradari tipped up by AP on The Morning Line for the 2.25 at Ascot, but I backed Garde La Victoire instead!
He said as long as the meeting was on they would run, he had to run here for his preparation I think and they will be happy enough he got out with another 1 next to his name.
Wounded Warrior played a fair compliment to Don Poli today too. He'll take some beating in the RSA that's for sure!
