    hi fellas.
Am coming down on a private coach for the game soon and am after a wee bit of advice if possible.
Gonna get dropped off around the station area. There will be four of us with toon tops on (jackets zipped over them though).
We should be there for 9 am so are there any Toon friendly pubs in town or near the ground? I used to know Hull really well pre 2000 as was born in Brid so i can navigate round old pub sites (studio circus, mint, biarritz, pepys, tower etc..)
    Any advice?

Dmd- if you are around mate, send me a text on the day and will try to meet up to say hi.

anywhere in the 'town' ie, near the station is fine

there's pretty much nowhere you'd get a problem with anyway

You'll notice a fairly significant change since your last visit! I'd maybe head to Princess Ave, there are some pleasant watering holes and within reasonable walking distance to the ground, anyone near the station will be able to point you in the right direction. I think they'd all be football friendly, someone else who goes there on match days could maybe verify?

I wouldn't expct you'd have a problem in any pubs.
At 9am, I'd head for the three john scotts. It's a Weatherspoons pub near Guildhall. From there, you're handy for White Hart, but one you'l enjoy is the Wiliam Hawk across from Manny Arms. It's the newest old pub you'll ever go in. From there, Lion and Key' Black Boy and Sailmakers are well worth a look
    .
It's about 10 mn and a £6 taxi ride to the ground from there. If you prefer to be near the ground earlier, Admiral of the Humber and Ebinezer Morley on Carr Lane until 11ish, then a 5 min cab ride to Princes Ave. I'd say Aunt Bibby's, Botanic and Polar Bear, but there's no bad ones.

Dutch is spot-on; a few jars in the delightful Old Town, then head up to Prinny Ave. Wear your shirts with pride; you won't get any aggro, just good people wanting to talk about football :emoticon-0100-smile

Absolutely (except it's Prince's Ave, not Princess!)

Masters Bar always welcomes away fans, pretty much the first pub you'll see when coming out the station. A bit cosy in there like.

Old Town is your place if you can get up that way, as has been mentioned, but it is the other end of the city centre.
