It is also obvious that Arry is becoming desperate throwing in Adel last week and implying that Kranky will play a part today....the fallout with SWP sounds stage managed ..with comments about the idiot who gave SWP a 60,000 contract. If his not gone by this weekend when we now have a 2 week break coming up then it will be pointless someone coming in after our next game. Not sure about signing being held off due to a new manager , think this will be the quietest transfer window in a long time. Does Les have all his coaching badges? There is disquiet because the team are playing so badly and cannot win a game. If I was harry I would have been cheesed off with Les's appointment. What does he do exactly? The fans will only turn if they see another broken performance. As long as the team he puts out are given clear instructions and everyone of them fights tooth and nail for the full 90 then we have a chance we really do. the media are terrible. they pick up on the slightest whiff of, well,just about anything. They then they print a few half truths with a healthy dollop of guesswork and turn a fairly normal situation at any business (potential changes of management) into a complete flipping melodrama. Then they sit back and chortle as we the fans pick up on their nonsense and spread it around the internet like a bunch of old women! All thats potentially happening is a manager might be sacked because other people at the club think results haven't been good enough - happens in offices up and down the country every day! Does that situation really require this level of hysteria?
Too many hangers on have been brought in - Hoddle, Les, Ramsey etc - only Sherwood missing from the ex-Spurs gang. If Tony was going to make a change, he should have put Harry, Bond & Jordan out to pasture, then brought in the new guy with his chosen group. It's a very awkward situation when the new management team is being put together in house while the current manager is still on the premises. If Tony decided on a different direction with his manager selection then whole lot of them would have to be shown the door.
