    Well said

We have a bunch of sideways passers who stay behind the ball

We are crying out for Lennon IMO

I would **** myself silly if we managed to see Januzai in a Sunderland top!

As mentioned and the reasons, Dembele would be an outstanding addition to the team.

1 Ricky Alvarez, and he's slow as **** <laugh>. Spent vast spells of his career in the middle of the park, it's where he played last season and it's where he should be playing for us imo.

From what I've seen of the two, I'd take Dembele over Ricky eight days a week. If we do start playing with someone in the hole I would be happy for it to be Ricky, but I'd be happier if it was Dembele.

More realistically, if we stay 4-3-3, think Dembele could play a genuine central midfield role and I don't think Ricky can.

Far too early for me to Judge Ricky. New to the league, new to the country, settling in period of set by injury. But you asked if any of our centre midfielders could beat a man form a standing position and advance, that's certainly what Ricky Alvarez looks to do. Just need a run of game to get sharp and settle.

I hope you're right Bri but I'm not sure Gus fancies him much. Seems like an impact winger ATM and AJ is no.1 choice there. Early days you're right, Borini had done little by this point last yr

He ain't no winger like. He's slower than Seb. Gus is playing him in the wrong position in my firm opinion.

Absolutely agree with this. Hope he gets Gomez's spot in time - the lad has looked well off the pace recently. AJ, Giacch, and Buckley (I'd like to say Mavrias but the kid has no chance atm unfortunately) should be rotated on the wings.

Back on topic... I'd love us to bring Januzaj in on loan. Evans and Zouma unrealistic as has been mentioned although either would be great additions. Dembele I've really rated ever since he was at Fulham, hasn't ever been given a decent run in the side at Spurs so could be worth a cheeky bid? He'd be brilliant for us imo. Lennon I wouldn't be opposed to but wouldn't particularly excite me, the lad has pace though and god knows we could use some. I've no idea about Sinclair - is he still alive?

Now if were gonna play 3-5-2, that attacking CM spot is perfect for AJ, GIACCH or Alvarez. AJ starts with it but great options!
