Saw the Australia score this morning. I'll keep an eye on scores/scorers etc, but doubt I'll watch much. Are you excited for it, ox?
The BBC sports website has a section on European football and African football, and still has a section on the 2010 (sic) World Cup, but nothing on Asian or South American football or even a default "World Football" section. Where is the best coverage of the Asian Cup to be found?
Mmmmm, in terms of being excited, not so so excited, but still keen for us to atleast make the final. We should. But their is a feeling in Australian football recently that we are imploding. I will watch the Australian matches live on the tv, am not attending any, and may watch some of the other games on tv if it suits. The match last night versus Kuwait was quite entertaining, being down 1-0, the goals scored were quite good, our youngster Luongo was very impressive at his first starting debut, he scored and assisted for Cahill's goal. http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/league/250/asian-cup/latest http://www.afcasiancup.com/ These two sites will have all the news you want. I know at the end of the day, the field or the quality looks boring from the outset. But it may produce some good football, last night was quite good. At the least, support the Oxxies (haha)
I bought 3 yesterday, and hope to be leading the "Roland Out" chants at Vicarage Road next Saturday. Amazed to hear from the box office girl that we have sold 1,500 given what is on offer. It's the hope that kills you.
My thoughts on leaving the ground yesterday were "Thank God I'm not going to Watford", so good luck to Vol and the 1500.
He's never at our matches, and would probably not been told. Best bit, find out his office and write him a letter. If you're going to do anything shout "Katrien Meire Out!" Wondering why Richard Murray is not advising them too. Is he not Executive Chairman?
I'd be surprised if KM ducked the match. Usually in these situations they know it's worse if they don't attend. She might leave before the final whistle though.
Strange, a match tomorrow and yet this thread has not been posted on since Tuesday........ I wonder why?
I for one am very excited about the game tomorrow, teams with new managers get results all the time, why not us? Will be interesting to see the starting 11
