Amazeing what 12 months does, the players that arrived, and are still arriving are top top players in their respective positions.

SC and SL have worked miracles in a 12 month period, the players arriving are excellent.

Sunny times ahead for our long suffering fans,a shiny new stadium in progress.
Gotta say it is great to be a city fan at present, onwards and upwards.

A lot of our team is made up of lads in the low twenties who have come from Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City academies etc, Clearly they were/are good enough that those clubs invested years of the best coaching in them. Now maybe they don't quite cut it alongside John Terry or Mezut Ozil, but by golly they will do for us in League 1 for sure. Just like you Red Robin, I can't wait for the next game - I have a real belief in this team, this manager and this club.

reckon the striker would be a youngish lad, with proven League 1 ability, probably owned by a top premier club, but who has been out on loan to other clubs to gain experience.

All those ex-Arsenal lads have something in common - they are all very good technically

I agree with all the other comments - it's so enjoyable watching our team play - not just winning but the way we play

Even listening to the matches on BBC Bristol in my far away world sounds better that previous years because 20man lives and breathes City and the usual moans about late goals costing valuable points has disappeared off the radar. Unlike recent years I always have the confidence that we are going to win no matter what and not hearing the negative comments coming from you lot at the game just makes me feel better about my lifelong team.

Heady times indeed lads and keep up the fabulous support and I might see you at Wembley soon.

    Definitely, we need another striker!
Only 1fit out and out striker and he is on loan to us.

We are a much much better side than 12,24,36 and probably 48 months ago!

Not hard to beat the lacklustre players we've had over the previous years though ! However I agree that we are a joy to watch at present and I hope it continues unabated until May when we're crowned Champions and have already won the JPT and have beaten WHU in the FA Cup.
Ok maybe I'm aiming too high..!

We need to consolidate our striker problem. Firstly we had Wilbraham and Agard, who whilst not prolific played their part in a winning team. Then fortunately Smith came along and JET struck some form. We must assume that we wont sign Smith unless we are promoted (he is on Championship money) and Jet is out of contract this summer. Do we want to offer Jet a contract in the Championship? We I believe have at least a core of 7/8 players who can bridge the gap but to me we seem lightweight in quality strikers. We should invest now in a quality striker IMHO

    Spot on

Fielding has slightly exceeded expectations after a dodgy start here, but he's not on a par with most Championship keepers

1 million would bring Doyle in that is what sheff utd have been quoted,is he worth it ?
Fielding has improved massive on last year, but he is our weak link in the team.We need a big commanding goal keeper traditionaly we have always had good keepers here.

"Keeper is top of the list"
Disagree. We need players to get us over the line . Fielding has not let us down this year and whilst not of Championship standard is adequate.
We need to beat teams more convincingly and in particular win the close games. Strikers will do this for us. Jet is an enigma and has been inconsistent. We must try and keep Smith until the end of the season (has there been any progress on extending his loan?).
In summary there are now four teams in the hunt for two places and while MK now face 5 out of 7 games away from home we must now try and pull clear. The decisions made in the transfer window will be pivotal to this aim
