well i have to say comparing lukaku to our lot is very funny... I'm loving it cos frankly it makes a mockery of your 28mil player that all you can think of his he's that freaking bad.

 

Yeah, god forbid you compare him to someone worthwhile

PS...if you want to try comparing him to someone of similar style and value, Bony is a pretty good match

 

But Lukaku is good enough.

He's a proven 1 in 2 PL striker at the age of 21. He struggled a bit with a broken toe earlier in the season and has had a patch of poor form which coincided with the side playing like drains and giving him little to feed off. He cut a frustrated figure until the change of tactics prior to the WHU game and he's had 3 cracking games since, scoring twice.

Anyone suggesting that the lad isn't good enough has got rocks in their head.

 

you are right ... i never pay attention to the mail.... you on the other hand said a few weeks back he was under big pressure so.... what is it... now these lot are having a bit of a laugh you have to deny it?

I never argued otherwise, why try and make him sound good by saying "he's better than Borini / Lambert / Balotelli"...? Isn't that a injustice to the lad?

 

He was in the eyes of some of the fans, but we've turned a corner, there's been a huge improvement in performance level in the last 3 games, which shows that he's not lost the dressing room, which was the major concern.

He would be a good comparison. he has a nice 1:2 return but has played nearly half as many PL games as rom. I am sure he will be doing even better during his time at City. he is a player I thought would have moved in the summer, but his ACON duty means he misses an important stage of the season and not many teams could cover that loss
