Not sure about the white bits under the arms, but the stripes on the shoulders have a nice nostalgic feel. Takes me back to my first Utd kit back in the late 80s. They were adidas as well IIRC.

    The side panels are ****!
You always get three stripes somewhere on an Adidas kit, like you say, very reminiscent of the 80s (i always picture Robson or Hughes when i see that kit).

Away kit looks much better than the home kit, if that home kit is real.

Hopefully the away kits are genuine and the home kit will be similar, i.e. just plain red and without the side panels.

Tho' I can't say I'm too bothered tbh - no matter how good they make it look I won't be handing over £50+ for one.

I like one of the comments in the Metro article on ours:

"Every season mufc have won an ugly kit we've gone on to win major trophies"

    Fingers crossed <ok>

Its not real obviously. Or comes from alibaba and the badge was added by someone on redcafe <laugh>

The dm picked it up and ran with it. The away kit is swanseas home kit with added black patches.

I don't know why Adidas have to stick stripes all over the kit. It would look alright if they just had there logo on the chest like Nike do.

The stripes on top are bad enough, but the ones on the side look terrible. I agree that it looks like a copy of Bayern Munichs kit
