That's exactly where we are, sitting in the championship with a stadium we can't fill & a mediocre manager!
My point was Poyet is a better manager when you compare what he's doing at Brighton with no resources.
So what if he ****s off when a better offer comes along,at least he makes things happen, gets the team moving in the right direction,in less time than it takes Grayson.

And Brighton have a goalkeeper who Grayson dumped, in favour of a keeper he dumped, in favour of a keeper he dumped.

Clive, pretty sure your talking to me not donald, but ken bates had come out and said we have talked to two premier league teams about simon grayson, didnt say much more than that, if i knew who the teams were i woulda named em.

LeedsinEssex, i actually agree that poyet is a better manager than grayson, i am stunned at what he has achieved at brighton but then i also think that paul lambert is a better manager than grayson. thats not the point, the point is why would you get rid of a manager who is doing well or taking the club in the right direction in favour of a manager that may come and disturb the teams progress. If the time comes when we need to sack grayson because he is not performing then so be it and then i would hope for someone like poyet to come in, at the moment though he is the right man for the job

I was actually thinking of doing that as well. It appears to have alleviated though since people have started using the ignore function.

Not sure what you mean about Premiership clubs? As in Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham on the televized games thread?

Josh I actually said in an earlier post on this thread(post number 7 I think)that we should keep Grayson for now as what we need at the moment is stability & continuity, but if by xmas we're somewhat off the pace & were looking to replace SG then I'd like to see Poyet at the helm.

    Yes, I meant Josh.

I think one of those teams was Burnley who ended up below us this season anyway, and they ended up sacking the manager they eventually appointed.

No big club would come in for Grayson, despite the false hope with the Villa speculation, but if they did he'd be off like a shot.

The whole point is that we're not making any progress, Josh. Do you honestly feel that if Gus replaced Grayson, we'd do worse?

I honestly feel that Grayson replacing McAllister did actually disturb the club's progress, but not many take that point of view.

Grayson is tactically inept - worse manager in the Championship by far <ok>

I think he's the worst manager of all time.

Not one person can name one strength that he has.

As well as being tactically inept, he's a terrible man-manager and a really poor judge of talent.

So are you saying Grayson is worse manager of all time at Leeds or do you mean in the world?.
He seems to promote teams on a low budget up the leagues so that is a strentgh, remember We have gone up not down with Mr Grayson in charge. He must be doing something right.
I do tend to agree with you about his judgement on his personal signings which is not too clever to put it mildly.

    See what I mean?

You can only say "he must be doing something right" but you can't say what it actually is, you can only agree with what he does wrong.

I do not know what he does in training and coaching where all tactics, skills and assements are done. This is were as a manager most of his work is done throught the week. He communicates well with his team and staff this I do know, so there you are a strength which effects how the team perform. Any sport COMMUNICATION is a key ingrediant for success.
So is he the worst manager at Leed or the world you never clarified.

How do you know how well he communicates with his staff?

I know he communicates poorly with the media.

He's the worst manager of all time, anywhere, ever.

your all blaming grayson but he did well last season with the mediocre team he had to play with, you had one or two reasonable players but the rest were not up to scratch. now who shall we blame for not getting you promoted, grayson who with his hands tied or papa smurf who would not let grayson bring in players good enough for the final push......your blaming the wrong man as no manager can get you promoted without the right backing when it is needed. ......i agree with some leeds fans that said pa pa smurf dont want premiership football as even with the money you get he dont want to pay premiership wages and all the costs that go with top flight football, as it stands he is in is comfort zone raking in premiership gate, merchandise and everything else but only has to fork out championship wages and costs. his heart bleeds for the fans as you take it out on grayson or any manager that he has full control of....
