New app is available not sure if this has been posted, but won't do any harm to repeat.

Maggie the default setting is for posters to be invisible they can switch this off. Mick has been asked to consider putting it the other way round, so that default is to be visible. I will post any further info on the New Site thread.

so will wait & see what happens. I only wondered if there was a reason for its removal. I now know its not removed, just hidden!

I don't understand why you even need an app.
I use Firefox (with AdBlock) on Android. A long touch on the address bar pulls up a menu. I select "Add to Home Screen" and a not606 icon appears on my home screen.
iOS was originally built to work solely like this. Proper apps from an app store came later...
not606 looks really nice on a small screen.
This new forum software puts vBulletin to shame.

I agree, I'm perfectly happy using Chrome on my android to view the site. Just downloaded the app to see if it was any good. At first glance... it isn't.
On my iPad, they're at the top of the Post Reply box. Along with the other icons. You should see a little smiley there.
