In the season prior to his leaving the Lane, a lot of us Spurs fans were on his back for being one of the worst strikers in professional football. He, Crouch, and and Pav barely got into double figures for Prem goals between the lot of them!

If he was worth 10 - 20 goals a season do you really think Spurs wouldn't re-sign him?

Well, if it is a swap, do a swap for another player - any other player - not Defoe.

Despite the fact that he was a great servant for Spurs, and he was one of a handful of players that I rated at the club, I wouldn't want him back, now.

He'll be a luxury player for you, in the same way that Adebayor is a luxury player for us.

 

Alot of pros and ex pros saying he will be a great signing think i will listen to them

 

Spurs are a bit better than us at the moment so would understand why you wouldn't want him back.

You might think differently if you had a strike force of Fletcher, Whickham and Alitdore though. Think of having 2 Soldados instead of Kane this season.

 

What was wrong with him in his last season there? He didn't play much at all and only scored once. Was he injured or just didn't play?

And has Adebayor rid himself of the voodoo yet?
