The whole appointment has been a PR disaster and has left a sour taste, but on the positive side, Bob was a poor poor manager, and Luzon can't be any worse, might even be better.

 

Remember when the Weeds fans said that their new owner can't be any worse than Papa Ken Bates....?

 

Subo can get involved if she wants. The pillow might be slightly heavier though..

 

Wasn't there a picture of her going around on Twitter? I never saw it but the comments weren't complimentary.

 

I felt for some time that we have been heading back to L1, the clubs at the bottom start winning about now, the football has been almost unwatchable and morale has been plummetting.
Roland has already shown his contempt for the fans by getting rid of Kermit, sacking Riga for Bob, so we knew that already, although admittedly he has made it more blatant now.
On the football side things couldn't have got any worse IMO, the difference now is the fans have been treated like "village idiots".

 

the "move on" brigade will be here soon. and as such, i thought i'd start with some song suggestions for our new puppet/manager

replace the word crying with luzon. instead of crying over you, we'd have "luuuuuzon, cos of you".

Very good piece, particularly like the bit on whether any of the "20 applicants" was British.

 

I dislike the bit about bringing back some of the rubbish we threw away.

I guess I couldn't read the sarcasm on Twitter. Or they have dodgy taste.

 

Since Curbs left, my feelings about the new managers, at the time of their appointment has been:

Dowie-Didn't want, uncomfortable about the fact that he came on a lie

Uncle Les- Wanted

pardew- Didn't want, because of his red card for spitting on an opponent.

Parky- Didn't want, because of the pardew association.

Powell- Wanted

Jose Riga Didn't want

Bob- Didn't want

Luzon- Didn't want.

So getting lumbered wit a manager I don't want is not new.
