You can all relax now, I rang up the ticket office and everything's sorted. Thanks for the advice dudes!
Good, good. Pleased for you Bidley. Think the 5th round will be on 7th March. Can you now buy a ticket for our game scheduled against Birmingham please.
Think the Cup Final is on 2nd May. If it is, we're away to Norwich (last game of the season) that day.
Beware of Dodgy Traders West Ham could lose £4m as shirt sponsors Alpari go into insolvency. The foreign exchange broker has become one of the largest casualties of Thursday's panicked trading of the Swiss franc. ”It is understood that the Hammers are owed around £4million for the remainder of their Alpari contract that was due to run until 2016. West Ham are also in talks over whether or not to blank out the Alpari logo on their shirts for Sunday’s televised game against Hull at Upton Park, as they have been paid until March. This would not be the first time that West Ham would have to wear patches on their shirts after the club were forced to close their sponsorship agreement with travel company XL, who became victims of the Icelandic financial crisis in 2008.” Source: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...r-shirt-sponsor-Alpari-enters-insolvency.html
Oh Dear!! On MOTD last night van Gaal moaned that Man United played like QPR in the first half and earlier on Sky Sport he referred to them as "Queens Park Raisins" https://v.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/8034...p4?versionId=3.dCFxRVOB_tAk0CZwvX9zwkTB8oLDvZ Jokes about QPR's 'currant' form at the ready!?
One for Fulhaman - "Sevilla triumph in a strange tale of four beaten goalkeepers First up was Antonio Alberto Bastos Pimparel, better known as “Beto”; next came Francisco “Kiko” Casilla Cortés; and after that, Pau López Sabata. Then, in the last minute, it was Sergio Rico González. Four men now forever bound together by fate, making history together. Carlos Bacca slipped the ball to Iago Aspas inside the Espanyol penalty area. He controlled and struck a low shot towards the far post. His was the 27th shot of a wild game and up on the scoreboard it said: Sevilla 2-2 Espanyol, 89 minutes. The ball went past Rico and into the net, just as it had gone past Beto, Casillas and Pau and into the net before: for the first time ever in Spain, four different goalkeepers had conceded in the same match. Which neatly underlined the madness of a brilliant game, the penultimate match in a brilliant weekend of football in Spain. The stadium erupted and so did Aspas; Sevilla versus Espanyol had got the end that it deserved and so had he. He’d waited an entire year for this. Spanish football had waited over 100 of them. Over 90 exhausting minutes, there had been one red card, two Sevillas, three posts, four beaten goalkeepers, and five goals. It had all started with Sevilla’s goalkeeper Beto bringing down the Espanyol midfielder Salva Sevilla as he went round him and prepared to roll the ball into an empty net. Bafflingly, Beto didn’t walk then, getting a yellow card rather than a red one, but he did walk at half-time with an injury. Four minutes before, down at the other end, Espanyol’s goalkeeper Kiko Casilla had walked too. Quite literally. He came sprinting out of his area, handled the shot that was floating over his head and into the net, and just kept going, not even looking at the card he knew was coming - until it did come and then he went back for a word. On came Pau and on came Rico and on went the game. And what a game it was." Link to the rest of the story: http://www.theguardian.com/football...-iago-aspas-four-goalkeepers?CMP=share_btn_tw
Did you hear why the BBC didn't choose Bradford v Sunderland game for TV. They had to choose a game before our replay, so thought just in case it was us they'd choose another game. Poor old Bradford lost out on some cash, just because the Beeb Sports Directors are a bunch of pathetic Tesco bag supporters.
The inference that the BBC expected us to beat Sunderland in the replay could be taken as a backhanded compliment I suppose. Then again there is the conspiracy theory that Richard Hughes is a closet QPR fan.
Had a good laugh after the Tottenham game when Alladyce said West Ham were too honest, may be they should cheat more often to get penalties.
Persona non grata - ”The Football League, Leeds United and Massimo Cellino have settled the outstanding disciplinary proceedings relating to the club’s non-disclosure of the Italian Court’s judgment regarding Mr. Cellino, as required under League regulations. The club and Mr. Cellino have decided in the interests of the club, its players and supporters not to contest this charge. As a result, Mr. Cellino’s period of disqualification as a ‘relevant person’, as defined by the regulations, has now been extended from April 10 until May 3, the day after the conclusion of the 2014/15 league season.” Source: http://www.football-league.co.uk/ne...simo-cellino-2316845.aspx#8WmiyWimK11bQVJx.99
Mark Warburton of Brentford has picked up Manager of the Year award at London Football Awards beating Jose Mourinho. And they’ve sacked him come the summer. Makes the latest news from Fulham pale in comparison.
I guess we will soon be getting the Leeds fans on telling us what a great player Ross is and how he saved their club (NOT) As for Mr McChippy he's probably one of those tight Yorkshire men who bought an expensive team shirt with Ross Is The Boss on it, and wants to get his money's worth you can tell they are upset that Ross went to little Old Fulham, guess we'll be getting more of them on here soon extolling the virtues of our player of the season.
