Just thought I would post this on the off chance someone on here sit's in one of these seats and hasn't noticed or are unaware that city have announced the following... "As previously communicated, the Lower Dolman is now out of action for redevelopment. Any remaining season card holders currently in the Lower Dolman will not be able to purchase online and must contact Supporter Services by phone to secure an alternative seat. *** These games will be screened live by BBC and Sky Sports respectively. This will involve some seats being unavailable due to camera positioning, and fans affected are as follows: Atyeo Stand Block E, Rows V & W, Seats 13-18 Block E, Rows X, Y & Z, Seats 10-20 Block H, Row F, Seats 15-20 Block H, Row G, Seats 15-22 Block H, Row H, Seats 15-24 Block H, Row J & K, Seats 15-25 Williams Stand Block A, Row A, Seats 9-22 Block A, Row B, Seats 9-21 Block A, Row D, Seats 9-20 Block A, Row E, Seats 9-19 Block A, Row F, Seats 9-18 Block D Upper, Row Q, Seats 1-21 (West Ham game only) Block D Upper, Row R & S, Seats 1-5 Block E Right, Row A & D, Seats 1-20 Block E Right, Row B & E, Seats 1-19 Block E Right, Row F, Seats 1-18 Anyone who has a season card in any of the seats above will not be able to purchase online and must contact Supporter Services by phone to secure an alternative seat." Quite a few seats that are unavailable due to the cameras being fitted for both our televised games! Whilst it's good we get to be on TV twice in 4 days it's annoying that people will be forced to move because of it...
What a shame when we have 2 of the most important games for years and our long suffering supporters have to be messed around and the crowds will be on the low side due to stadium redevelopment that should have been done years ago. Rome wasn't built in a day but at this much better time in our footballing fortunes we have to suffer a stadium under difficult circumstances.
It's the BBC and Sky who are to blame. Only reason these seats aren't available is because of the cameras that have to be installed. Just something we have to put up with for another 2 years and then we'll have our brand new shiny stadium!
thats got to be 150 plus seats there! in an already over subscribed game! I aint gonna get a ticket for this am I.
Tried booking online, for this Dinosaur it was impossible - all I got was the Bristol Sport page wanting me to buy the 'Forever Bristol' card. With no link to the page for the West Ham tickets, I rang through after 27 minutes and successfully secured my ticket. Banksy, not sure if you'd want to buy the £20 'Forever' card but I think you'd at least be the next priority after season card holders.
I'm not very good at this and you'll probably give me stick but here goes : http://www.bristolsportstore.co.uk/...cts/3843/forever-bristol-sale-membership.aspx
The booking site is not working, does not even know my seat numbers, just wants to give me best possible seats. i have to ring in morning.
This came from David Lloyd "Log in to the online site and click on 'reservations'. The system should automatically recognise your seat and make it available for purchase. It will give you an option to buy the Gillingham game. Once you have completed that transaction (or not, as the case may be), then click on 'reservations' again and it will bring up the West Ham game. Any problems, call 0117 963 0600. Lines are busy, but you have until 5pm next Monday, so all season card holders will have plenty of time to make sure they get their ticket." You just have to deal with one ticket at a time and then at the end, go to Cart and make payment for one or two tickets. It probably needs a separate user name/password for each season ticket holder. The system is laborious but DL has said next season there will be an improved ticket purchase system in place.
