<laugh> can't say I'm a connoisseur of his work as you clearly are. I just hope he isn't getting his "finest" from around where I grew up <yikes>

<laugh> Maybe I'm just an immature idiot but I love Adam Sandler films (obviously jack and jill was **** but most others are good imo.) even the newer "that's my boy" I thought was pretty funny.

A lot of really good films mentioned on this thread although a few that haven't been

    Lawless
    Public Enemy
    Saving Private Ryan
    Fight Club
    Snatch

The Rollerball remake was the worst ****e I think I've ever seen.

    The Grudge was pretty awful.

The Wrong Turn was so bad it was amusing.

The Grudge was a poor poor film.

Which also reminds me of Gothika another poor film, though it did inspire me to write "Not Alone" in very thin vaseline across my sister's bathroom mirror when I visited not long after seeing it. It was quite amusing when it next steamed up <laugh>

The remake of Rollerball, my god, I'd forgotten about that. Absolute ****e. But most remakes tend to be garbage - see the moronic slop that was the new Total Recall.

Worst film I've ever seen has to be Piranha. Even though I found myself watching it right till the end....

Anyone seen sharknado? I haven't but I've heard thats generally one of the worst films of all time.

Only seen a little bit of the original, I got the feeling it was violent for the sake of being violent.

Funny thing was when it the remake was reviewed on BBC Film they were talking about the humour in the first one. I didn't see any

Re: Robocop original. It was a satire on 80s big business mixed with sci-fi ultra-violence. There's plenty in it that's funny, but if you didn't live through those times or can't remember them now, then it wouldn't really mean anything or be funny.

Back to the crapfest though - Transcendence with Johnny Depp. Starts off alright but then it appears people who know nothing about computers or technology, or in fact film-making, took over. The last half hour is so stupid, so ridiculous I was shouting abuse at the end credits.
