Good result last night. I think WHU are a tougher test than Everton although neither opponent would have been exactly easy. Everton would have been slightly more glamourous. Just hope we can give a decent account of ourselves. At home, we ought to be able to give them a game
That's interesting Angelic - I actually thought, considering they were a man down for most of the game, Everton played MUCH better - their passing and movement was attractive to watch - and quite effective, whereas WHU seemed to be playing far more 'direct'. I said to the missus I was pleased we had West Ham rather than Everton, because I think we have more of a chance (albeit very small) of causing an upset against them. That game was one of the most enjoyable I have seen in a long time - see the hammers all celebrating at the end and the Everton lot being consoled - it just goes to underline what a massive prize - a chance to play on the hallowed turf of Ashton Gate - was to them all - both teams gave everything - it was like a cup final!!
