Roof that was in the Championship, a big difference to the PL and when he did get a go in the PL he failed miserably.
Transfer News Reports: Chelsea ready to swoop for Wilfried Bony if talks with Man City fall through By Graham Corking Posted on January 9, 2015 please log in to view this image Advertisement reports, Jose Mourinho is ready to hijack Man City’s move for Swansea’s in-demand Wilfried Bony and are willing to meet the £30million asking price. Bony had recently claimed that he is close to agreeing a deal with Man City, but Swansea are unhappy that City are only willing to pay £25million for the Ivorian. Wilfried Bony reveals he is close to Man City move and wants to play in the Champions League If the talks break down for Bony with Man City, then Mourinho is keen on swooping for the 26-year-old striker who set Swansea City back £12million last season. Chelsea have already missed out on a key target in the form of Andrej Kramaric who was all but set to join the Blues but instead opted for a move to Nigel Pearson’s Leicester City. With Mourinho keen on not allow Man City to secure a striker of Bony’s quality which could sway the title race, the Chelsea boss may be more than willing to splash the cash on Bony. ManCity's manager must have caught wind of the article dai , he's starting to say how great it would be to have a striker who doesnt get injured , and actually using Bony's name ...thats a good lad ..lol
So,Gomis wants to play CL and reckons his agent has been talking to "one very big club" Well,I'm getting pissed off with these fukers. So,if you want away there's the Fukn door, fuk off and close it behind you. Early morning rant over, now back to picking my gee-gees for today
http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...s/report-gomis-offered-to-arsenal_198519.html http://www.footballfancast.com/premier-league/arsenal/arsenal-sounded-out-for-wanted-swansea-striker Lazy journo or is there something in this. Just can;t see Arsenal wanting him.
Looks like lazy journalism to me. I think they (crap journo's) keep linking our players to Arsenal simply because we play, or try to play, similar styles, ball on the deck, pass and move football, not Tikki Takka imo I don't see Bony as an Arsenal player, or a Man City player for that matter. I see him looking good in Chelsea Blue though.
Gomis got himself about a bit at the weekend, got into some great positions but his finishing is a bit suspect, not even sure he hit the target once against us, he may get CL football, but then Dundalk get CL football.
On the prospect of a move, Gomis said: “I know clubs have been speaking to my agent and my agent has been speaking to one very big club so we will see what happens. I believe I could do a job for most clubs and like any player I want to play in the Champions League”. New or rehash from http://www.sportsvibe.co.uk/news/football/arsenal-plot-move-for-lethal-swansea-striker-38556/? ? They also claim Palace have offered over £9,000,000
Gomis is improving but has yet to prove CL quality and I think most clubs in that competition will agree. As for going to Palace that would be unfortunate but I said to Mr Miggins last week that if someone came in for him after Bony left we'd be up the creek. We need to move fast if this happens.
Say for argument sake Gomis did want to leave and a bid of £9m was on the table do you think for one minute we would commit suicide and sell him without having a proven striker better than him all clued up with our style of play. Gomis has to stay until the end of the season regardless what the rags say as we are not in the position now that Bony is gone to let gomis go.
Seems Gomis is not going to Palace.... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenal-striker-yaya-sanogo-set-4967951
'According to the Daily Mail the French striker (Gomis), who has failed to hit the ground running since arriving at the Liberty Stadium from Lyon last year, has been offered to Arsenal, with Gary Monk clearly not convinced when it comes to his ability to lead the line.'
Not sure about that Bob, I don't trust the Daily Fail, besides Monk has stated that it's Gomis chance to shine now, and I cannot see Arsenal coming in for him, they are mostly window shoppers, nothing to worry about in my view and even if he goes so what we still have a very good front line in Siggy, Dyer Emnes, Barrow etc!..............
That report is the opposite what the Manager has been saying but you never know. Put that with someone else saying we're definitely not buying in January and it goes to show that nobody knows nuffink lol.
