BBC is reporting today that a deal has been done at Oldham with Ched Evans to play for them. I find this whole thing very difficult to get my head around - without his admission of guilt (assuming the verdict was correct) it is difficult to support his right to be rehabilitated and yet on the other hand if that verdict was - as he still maintains - wrong then can he be blamed for wanting to clear his name and does he have to live on benefits until it is resolved?

I'm surprised. What do they seriously expect? Given real time, I think he/they would have been formidable. I thought he was one of the better managers. Good for us - apart from the curse, obviously.
