Good news Beth, Murphy has let it be known that he doesn't actually want to play, and on closer inspection of his contract he's not obliged to. So I'm putting Fer in goal, his courage makes him the obvious candidate to fly into a morass of players to punch the ball clear and dive at Rooney's feet a few times. That frees up the CB slot for you, and as the fans have played a crucial 12th man role at LR this season, we have undoubtedly earned our place in the starting line up. I have no doubt about your superior match fitness compared to the majority of the squad, and you can only benefit from game time. Do us proud. And let us know what Bond, Jordan, Hoddle and especially Steve "Pat on the back, job done' Black actually do. I've heard we are thinking of adding Donald Trump to the coaching line up. Can I sell your seat?
No you can't! I gave it to Taarbs anyway...he says he wants to watch a real winger play, not sure who he means....SWP or Caulker ( I gave it to Taarbs in retaliation for you two not going to the cup match, and me having to sit next to the constant hot dog/coke swilling Norwegians that bought your seats!)
I think Arry ought to be reading this forum. Wish he would. No one here seriously thinks of starting Rio. He might as well flip some off again on social media so Arry has his excuse not to play him.
Madness to play Barton as the only DM and Madness to drop Fer. Who ever is playing the 10 or striker along side Charlie will need to get in Carrick face when they have the ball, stop him distributing, make the more attacking players come back to get the ball. I really hate to do this at home but I'd go 4 2 3 1 Green Isla-- Ned-- Dunne --Traore ----- Henry-- Barton -------- Vargas---- Fer------ Zarate\Hiolett -----------Austin-------------
Why zarate over tarabt? Zarate looks far from ready , had the touch of jimmy savile when he came on , tarabt had numerous e around the corner passes that got us on the attack ....
With the thought that United are playing three at the back and two wing-backs who aren't we should go for it and meet fire with fire... ----------------------Green-------------------------- --------Onuoha--Ferdinand--Caulker---------- ----Isla--Barton--Taarabt--Henry--Hoilett---- -----------------Vargas---Austin------------------ Gung-ho, nothing to lose. Ferdinand will have a point to prove (hopefully)...
He looks shattered, and openly He looks tired, openly hostile to playing up front on his own and we may as well see if we can get something out of Zarate and certainly more from Vargas. With Isla as well in midfield, it might just free up players to actually get up and support. However, a serious talk to Fer, Taraabt and Traore would be a must prior to the game, but hej that's Redknapp's forte.
Green Isla Dunne Hill Caulker Vargas Barton Fer Taarabt Austin Zarate A new role for Caulker - slaughter anybody who gets the ball in our half. Vargas and Fer take care of their wing backs, high up the pitch. Taarabt goes where he wants to get the ball. Barton gives Carrick a right good seeing to (his only task). Austin and Zarate score a brace each. Simples!
Not the worst idea BUT.... seeing as Dunne and Hill are just as fast as Ferdinand and Onuoha and Caulker are reasonably fast, why would you put Ferdinand in above Dunne and Hill?
Ferdinand has lost an awful lot of pace, but I'd be willing to bet that he's still quite a lot quicker than Hill and a bit quicker than Dunne.
Just saying Rio has never won a match in a QPR shirt. Now what does fate tell us..... 1. he never will 2. His first/ only win will be against United These are matches myths are made from
